I have the 2019 voodoo blue TRD Pro sport..I love it. It does everything I need it to do. It drives beautifully..best truck I have. Hubby has the Tacoma. I'm keeping this for the long haul.

To get the most in speed off the line you need to hit the tow haul mode and lsd button which seriously changes its attitude. There is more with buttons done in sequence to open up all available power without nanny aids cutting power. I have had my 2015 for almost 5 years with about 100 thousand kilometers in central Canada and no issues yet except scheduled maintenance. Good unbiased review.

I dont mind the dated look people are complaining about. I just wish it had a heated steering wheel. That being said I still have plans to pick up a 2020 1794 later this year.

The wheelbase is the same for the crewmax and double cab, so the ride should be very very similar. Most truck manufacturers have simplified their trucks with the same wheelbase with extended and crew cabs, at least with what the build the most of. Trying to find a longer bed version in either trim is difficult. Toyota doesn't make a longer bed crew max anymore.

I love voodoo blue. But yeah the transmission is outdated, the look is getting even older. But I he8theres an all new tundra coming next year. Let's hope for the best

I just bought 2020 it has plenty of room I'm averaging 16mpg it does have an dated feel in steering and transmission but other than that it's super smooth ride very roomy but will be smoother than a ford,chevy dodge after 100,000 once those trucks start rattling falling apart yes I have owed plenty domestic SUVs and trucks so speaking from experience
