2020 Triumph street triple rs Top mods and the Worst mod

Hi there, what is your height? Im thinking about install the flyscreen but i'm afraid doesnt fit for me, im 190cm high (6 feet and 2.8 inches)

My top favorite mod is the mount for a center lift stand. Just ride the bike in the garage, lift it up and turn it around for when you have to leave again. Also makes chain maintenance a breeze. During winter storage it is good to have both tires off the ground too. Other mods: -Heated grips, very nice to have. Button is a bit small and hard to feel with gloves on. -Scrolling led indicators, just looks good. -Frame sliders, some protection and i think it also improves the look of the bike. -Modded official triumph tail tidy. Shortened by removing the mid piece and with no reflectors. Looks nicer than most aftermarket imo. -Bluetooth module, works fine here. Useful to operate my GoPro. But i wouldn't say it is a must have. -For navigation i prefer to use my phone in a holder because then you get to see the map and which exits/turns you need to take. My mount has wireless charging so just click in and go and your battery won't run out.

Thats a bunch of good mods. I use paddock stands to keep mine up. Seems everyones bluetooth module works except people ik lol

What is the scaffolding on the front of your bike over the front wheel? I have just bought a Speed Triple RS. Will fit Triumph’s heated grips but AVOID the Blue tooth module. If you paid by credit card can’t you do a charge back on it for your wasted $220 on the BT module?

I have a question regarding the stock headlights. Have you messed around with them? I’d love to have both running headlights on but only one turns on unless you use the brights. I haven’t found anything online regarding a rewire mod. I’ve also see some people install LED headlights and all of a sudden both running lights come on so I just don’t understand it at all 😅

I love my 2018 Street Triple RS as well. Great video.. I am also in the NE and thinking about the heated grips. One of my favorite mods was tank grips..

Nice street triples are very fun bikes to ride. Yea id recommend heated grips they work great. Yea tank grips are good they stop you from slamming into tank lol

@@StrawDragon when i ride im more back cause im 6 foot tall. I grip tank with my knees so I don’t slide forward. Its good for my stature. I have long legs also.

Agree with most. The BT module is complete shit. And while the exhaust sounds good for a stock muffler, I moved to the Akra and removed the cat and then tuned it, and we are now pumping out 125hp at the wheel, which is a significant jump in power in addition to the weight savings...

@@funnymotoman3503 Just know that if you do a slipon, you will need to tune it. There is no "aftermarket map" from the dealer... never has been for the 765 motors... There is no 12 minute tune, or "learning ECU" with these EURO5 bikes. If you do a slipon and air filter, you will need to tune the bike. I have done several videos on the process and what we learned along the way.

I had the same BT issue on my ‘19 Triumph Scrambler with an iPhone 11 and after 6 months I found out it wouldn’t pair because of the name of my device. I think I had a symbol or space in the name of the iPhone and after changing the name to just “iPhone” it synced up immediate! The gps and notifications were just not good enough to use it. Now I’m using a Garmin Zumo XT and it’s sooo much better for gps and phone notifications!

Really wow. They tried everything and it was the module it didnt work. So i just asked for my money back and used money for other parts lol. I was looking at a gps and was thinking about getting one. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Nice clean mods. I have woodcraft frame sliders on my ‘20 RS and I’m thinking of switching those to the triumph ones. You mentioned your radiator guard protects from rock chips. Do you have any rock chips on the front fairing and visor? Mine has several and I didn’t know how thin matte black paint can be. I also wanted to ask where did you buy your front stand. The front stand I have holds the bike up from the bottom of the fork but our bikes has a wire connect right below the fork.

Yea i have a few rock chips also. I just use a sharpie marker to fill them in lol but i did buy a small touch up bottle of paint from the triumph dealership with the paint code. Yea i got radiator guard because first ride i went on when i got bike i had a huge rock hit the side of radiator so i decided to just get guard instead of paying 600 bucks for a new radiator guard. I was gonna go with woodcraft but the triumph ones look like there factory installed thats the only reason i went with those. Thanks again bud I appreciate you watching my channel.

Agreed with the BT module, I got it for Trident 660 and it is so bad. It actually works for me, but the app is terrible, Triumph don't give a shit about it, I contacted them multiple times and they just don't care that they sell something so shitty. I can't understand how they can pretend like it is so great.

Those equipments are created for work at a single line band of MHZ (controled and limited by ANATEL) ... Mines working with no problems whatsoever luckily. No connection problems and the turn by turn navigation works great. For me, definitely worth it!

They fixed mine. I only use it for navigation and gopro. For communication, it seems to be very limiting. I'd keep mine. Still a nice thing to have.
