My wife has had an xc90 T8 (R Design) for 3 years (in Ireland). Great car - 1st class travel. And yes the seats are as good as seats get in an automobile. Overall MPG depends on if you are doing more or less short trips vs long trips. Our average MPG over the past 3 years is approx 40 MGP (imperial). We have had some technical issues but all were sorted under warranty. We are planning to buy another in 2020.

@@karwan33 Yes - now have it 1 year - 2020 T8 R Design Pro with B+W, heads up, 22 inch wheels, full leather etc - added side skirts and Polestar upgrade as options.

Why is there no arm rests when you take it with the captain chairs in the 2nd row? I find that awkward for adults sitting on those seats.

Hi Maria, the captain seats do not have arm rests as Volvo designed the vehicle without them to allow easier access to the third row seating.
