The fact that it can keep up reasonably with his Mustang is impressive for such a small and light bike. I’ve been riding for 15 years, rode plenty of 750cc-1600cc bikes, Harleys and Ducati’s and Honda’s and Suzuki’s and this is my next bike for sure. Just a simple, commuter/grocery/occasional backroad twisty on the weekend. The R6 was just too much bike every day IMO feels like having a Ferrari but have only dirt roads and parking lots to ride in. Great vid, i’ve watched it a few times already.

I have seen a few reviews of this thing and it has pretty smooth power output and doesn't pull hard enough to lift the front wheel off the ground or break the rear tire loose unless try hard. I think the most important thing would be does the bike fit you.

Break-in is under 7k rpm. You ruined it.

Hey Mike, we are aware that the manufacturer recommends the break in but, it is just that - a recommendation. Bike is up, running smoothly, and has no hiccups so I would not say we/I ruined it. I appreciate the comment, the view and feedback though! I will definitely take this into account when I buy another new bike/vehicle.

@@blackbirdrides3098 little does Mike know I've ridden it way harder than you did in that video so no it is not ruined

Older bikes, break in period was critical. Today, no. Many people have actually found a hard break in is best to seat the rings good.

Just a bit of clarification for y'all here, the owner's manual says to avoid prolonged periods above these specific RPMs (6300 and 7000), not to avoid it completely. Literally all it says in regards to the RPM. I think I was not in those ranges for a "prolonged" period...so everyone is right?

@@blueforest4589 I never said it wasn’t important, I said it was a risk we were willing to take. Even with that, it says “prolonged periods above...”. Also not my bike and the owner is completely okay with that.
