Great video! I want to see details on books. I mix all my curriculums. I dont like 1 philosophy enough to only do the one. But i think your lay out is beautiful. Your girls are blessed by GOD to have you as their mother. To teach and guide them with such thoughtful care.

This is the second time I have heard of the CMEC. I know it has the book lists, supply lists, and other parent resources. Does it lay out a yearly lesson plan/schedule, for how/when you should read each book? (Similar to how AO has books broken down weekly)? Do the different forms have their own history cycle to study? (I do get that older forms would have world/ancient history streams added in). We will be using A Gentle Feast Cycle 1 for my daughter's 1st grade year:) Are you doing anything with your younger child? Or will she just sit in on the riches and such as she desires?

My child is also starting first grade now. This will be our second year homeschooling. Im trying to research all of the different types of homeschool. (last year because of covid , we started homeschool all over the place-we bought a bunch of curriculums- but we loved it) This will be our first "organized" homeschool year. Im interested a lot in the Charlotte Mason Method and Montessori. Whats the difference between CMEC and Simply Charlotte Mason?

Great choices! We've used AO for the past few years but have been looking at CMEC(no other programs/curriculum can compete with the quality of AO books...for me anyways). We shall see how this year goes first. :) We love talkboxmom.❤
