For anyone watching this video. The hardware is 8mm and 13 mm not 9/32 and 1/2. Also you will need to reinstall the 2 lower bolts (1 per side)as the are structural to the bumper. The other 4 either reinstall or remove the clips … or listen to rattling.

Love it! Just got a 2024 STX and I'm about to try this with my air dam. The 24's seem to have a slightly different shape, but it looks like it's all functionally the same. I also got Eibach shocks and struts but I'm only setting the front to 1.5" of lift. From what I've seen in videos, people often get closer to 2" out of the 1.5" setting, and I do wanna retain a little bit of rake because I do haul dirt, bricks, concrete, furniture, etc. with some regularity. I went with 34's (285/70r18) and also opted to throw on some 1/4" spacers, so it should end up with a very similar stance to yours.

I also have a 24 STX. How did the removal go? Do you have to cut the outer air dam? For reference my truck has a 2in level on 35 and I still have a little forward rake. I tow my drift car with it and have had zero issues on multiple 8 hour trips with the way it handles

@@Ty_Drifts Was the easiest thing I’ve done to it. You just need a 7mm and 13mm socket. Removal of the active air dam took about 15 minutes. If yours is a 24’, you can just use a box cutter to run along the line where the bottom 1.5” of the passive air dam changes from hard plastic to that rubbery material. Easy peasy!

When you removed the active air dam does it trigger a check engine light? I know the rams do.

@humblescape my valance got jammed & wasn’t going all the way up. Took it in bc my check engine light came on & ford told me it was due to my balance being stuck. I want to remove it as well, but idk where I could find a dummy plug to plug into fuse once off.
