I'm so glad you made this video. I was just laying under the truck trying to figure out how to get the bolts out in front of the intercooler lol.

Good video on rear bumper, but a lot of unnecessary steps if you’re just removing the bumper as an assembly. unclip the wiring harness from lights, tow plug, and sensors, and 6 bolts that are 24s. Super easy

I wonder if we might do bookmarks on this video. So someone could skip right to front bumper

Does the main power connector disconnect/reconnect trigger any air bag or crash detection sensors?
@FishboneOffroad8 ай бұрын
It shouldn't because the sensors are based off of impact, but if you want to be absolutely sure, I recommend just disconnect your battery before starting

Great video! Looking to paint the chrome part on my front bumper. Can the front bumper be removed without taking off the grill?
@FishboneOffroad2 жыл бұрын
You can, but it involves a lot of twisting and yanking. We don't recommend it because you could permanently break the retaining tabs.

@@FishboneOffroadI haven't had to take off the grill yet. Just for the front number. 🤷♂️ Cavender Ford multi-faceted technician here. I just wanted to add my 2 cents. Was looking to get past a module on the power boost models

For the front bumper, is it possible to remove the bumper without removing the grill first?
@ShadowMachine99 Жыл бұрын
Yes. But the power boost models have an inaccessible nut behind some kind of module in the bumper. Was trying to find out how to get past that module and I find these guys. Wasting time. Take the number of the truck as a whole. Swap pieces into new one on a stand. I've done a couple, but haven't had to fight with that module yet.

@@ShadowMachine99 do you have an email to ask some questions I’m trying to do a mod on my truck that maybe you can weigh in on possible ways to go about it?
