The 24 grill definitely looks great! I do want to share my experience on my 21. I had an unfortunate accident with a coyote crossing the highway at night. The bumper and grill were all mangled and caved in. However, the radar was untouched. On the 24 bracket, it seems like the radar sits further forward, and is almost flush with the grill cover. If the same accident occurs, I fear the radar unit would not have survived. Just a thought. Thanks for doing the swap and showing it can be done though. It certainly looks great!

The last grill was just fine with me; not qualitatively different from the previous. What needed to change was the drive shaft that makes all the unexplained clunking whenever you change gears or step on the brakes and other maneuvers. I was able to keep mine for only three weeks and went back to BMW.

Looks great! What did you mean when you said lambdausa modified the grill? I thought they only sold the new holding bracket? And congrats on transferring the emblem over, they usually crack when prying them off due to the double sided tape.

Great video as always. I upgraded to a 2024 and the old grill now looks super outdated to me, glad it’s relatively simple for my pre-facelift brethren to get the new grille One thing I have been really mad about, and I’m not sure if any of you have heard. Middle of 2025 model year, Acura installed a new software on all the TLXs that enables full screen, Apple CarPlay. So now there are 2024s like mine, and half the production run of 2025s that are on older software that do not have this feature. And no one knows if they’re going to release the OTA to the rest of us. Do you think there’s a way for us to flash the new software onto out 2024/2025 models? It’s the same system. Just a new software version. 24 and half of 25s shipped with F.1.3.3 and now the new ones have F.1.4.1.

I am on the verge of ordering the IMR catless downpipe and secondary cat delete with cat sensor - i notice that you have removed your downpipe - is there any issue that caused you to take it off? Im in a 25 TLX-S - so no tune available.

Question. Are you fooling with the lambda tune? I remember you removed your downpipe for some reason. Im really considering since I have '23 type s. Wondering if I can retrofit digital gauge, navi, and HUD. What do you think?

@@kallen545 I’m currently doing some refining with ktuner and have had some good success. It’s in the 20s here next few days and will really be telling how much progress has been made. I am on oem cat but also have with me a catless car actively testing same temps. No lambda files on my car although we communicate on a regular basis. Digital gauge would require a host of new harness, modules, parts, etc. I don’t see a way around that. The hud may be a simpler task as we can use harness from same year Tlx from a different trim but would cost a fortune
