Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I especially loved this video, as we stopped there, albeit only for about a half hour 😢, in 2006. We were on a Princess Cruise bus, waiting for our turn to drive the tunnel to Whittier where we boarded our cruise ship. I LOVED your tour, as the Wildlife Refuge has grown remarkably, and we were not able to really see but a couple of animals (NO bears, darn, my FAV!), plus is was raining. You are literally having the time of your lives! Thanks so much for sharing it with me and many, many others!

You're so welcome Virginia!! Glad you got to see a little more of it through our video, 30 mins is very quick! We were so lucky to see the bears that morning. They have a huge area to roam so seeing them isn't always easy! 😍🐻

@@NewstateNomads oh absolutely! Bears, bears, bears…I love them! I don’t know where you are right now, but hopefully you’ll be able to visit Skagway and Ketchikan. Although they are “tourist” areas, and ports-of-call for cruise ships, the towns are quaint and surrounded by stunningly gorgeous views. Take the train from Skagway, up the mountains to the Yukon. The train reverses in the Yukon (you stay on board),:and returns to Skagway giving you the view perspectives you missed going up. Alaska, as you well know, could possibly be the most scenic state in the U.S. Tim and I are waiting for my dad’s estate to be finalized next month, and then we will be free to jump in our Lucy (Navion!) and take off…can’t wait to be “free”again!

3:10 "So this is where we're gonna use our facemasks, also. We try to limit the amount of people they're exposed to still, since there is no vaccine for deer." Hearing this made me a little sad.

Right!? 😢 Have to protect the animals! We learned that certain species are far more susceptible to COVID including Musk Ox and deer so wearing the masks around them is so important.
