Rode for years without a helmet. Always thought they would be cold/uncomfortable. After doing a whole lot of "digging" to learn more about them I invested in the Prime helmet. I waited for the off season and found the size/color I wanted for about half price. I'm very curious how it will be for comfort and warmth. 🤔🤷🏻♂️ Thanks and keep yourself safe! 😎👊❤️🏂 Randy

Hey man, so I bought the Raider 3 helmet and it fits really well, not too big or small so perfect. I do however feel like it sits quite high on my head, like when I put it on there's a pretty big gap between my eyebraws and the helmet and in the back of my head it also feels and looks like the shell of the helmet barely covers the base of my skull. Would you say that is normal or could the shape of my head be the problem since I do have quite a high head? And if so could you maybe recommend me some helmets that would maybe sit a bit lower on my head? Thanks!

Hello! First of all thanks for the video! I would like to know if my Oakley Fight Deck XM goggles will mix confortable and will fit well with any Anon helmet. I love Anon design but sometimes doesn't fit with using different brands. Thanks a lot
@thehouse3 жыл бұрын
The funny thing about goggle-to-helmet fit is it can also depend on where the goggles and helmet sit on your face/head. Only way to know for sure is to try em out together.

I measure comfortably to 59.75cm, and I measure tight it's 60, if I measure loose it's just over 59. The sizing falls exactly between M and L. Which size do I get? Will the padding squash a bit over time? Do I err on the side of slightly small or slightly large? Thanks!
@thehouse2 жыл бұрын
With that it really depends on the shape of your head so you won't really know until you try them on. I'd just pick the one that your gut is telling you to get and you can always exchange it for a different size if need be. I want to buy my first helmet and i would like to chose between Greta 3 mips or rodan non mips for women. Which would you recommend?
@thehouse2 жыл бұрын
Up to you, when you spend more you do get more. The Rodan does have a better fit system and lighter weight construction. Also the MIPS version in either version is going to be safer than a non-MIPS helmet. HELMETS-> www.the-house.com/helm

I got a medium raven mips, but I thought it was too big. My head measures 56cm, which falls into the medium category. Size small is too small. Do you know about the auto-adjust system for this helmet? I'm not sure if I should give it a try or shop for a helmet with boa fit.
@thehouse3 жыл бұрын
Yeah its an elastic/poly frame that helps grab the lower part of the back of your head. I have the mens version of this helmet and love it.

What anon helmets works best with wearing your goggles underneath the helmet? My strap is always pressing uncomfortably hard into the back of my head.
@thehouse2 жыл бұрын
There’s no good answer for this other than wearing your goggles on the outside of your helmet. Everyone has a different shaped head and google straps sit different on everyone’s head. Also any material taken away from the inside of the helmet takes away from proper fit of the helmet which means you are not getting maximum protection from the helmet.
@skipskipper992 жыл бұрын
@@thehouse Did Jason from Anon/ Burton say there was a notch cut out in the Rodan helmet so you could wear goggles underneath said helmet? When he was talking about the Rodan helmet, the one he likes to wear, I could swear he mentions this. Is there a notch? Unfortunately I can't see or find any info on that. It was in the video with you and him talking about the Anon helmet line up for 2021 I think.
@thehouse2 жыл бұрын
@@skipskipper99 He did say that but again depending on your head, your goggles and how everything sits on your head/face you can't guarantee that it is going to fit properly and be comfortable.

@thehouse3 жыл бұрын
Don't recommend wearing the hood underneath. You will end up with a helmet that is too big when you don't need the hood. If you do get one of the hoods, get one that is the bigger size so it will fit over your helmet.

Looking into upgrading my helmet and trying to decide between the Rodan with mips or the Logan with Wavecel. I am a freestyle rider who likes to wear a beanie and goggles underneath my helmet. My priority is safety followed by lowest weight Thanks in advance
@thehouse3 жыл бұрын
Id go with the wavecell, It pretty incredible and safe. We don't recommend a beanie under the helmet though. The helmets are already designed to be plenty warm without a beanie and have removable ear pieces for warmer days. When you get a helmet that is big enough to fit a beanie under it when the weather warms up and you dont need a beanie it will be too big and not protect your head properly.

Is there enough room to wear the raider 3 with a beanie on?
@thehouse3 жыл бұрын
Really don't suggest wearing a standard beanie under the helmet. They already have warm liners and ear pads. The problem with getting a helmet that fits a beanie under it is when it gets warmer and you take the beanie off, your helmet will be way to big. GO for your regular size and if you need the extra warmth check out this thin "helmet specific" beanie. www.the-house.com/bs8rcbk18zz-blackstrap-beanies.html

Does snowboard helmets have a life expectancy age? Like motorcycle helmets should be replaced every three to four years. I've had my Poc Fenix helmet I think four years.

Unless they are labeled as a "multi impact" helmet you want to replace the helmet if you take a hard spill a hit your head or if you can see damage to the helemt.
