The Audi S8 is definitely a sweet sedan! Keep working towards it and it'll happen! It's an expensive car for sure! The s3, s4, and even the RS models for those are much less expensive but smaller cars too. Very similar though as other options!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed the electronics/interior from what I can tell is the main difference. However it looks like mine is considerably lighter. Which.....hardly anyone who buys an S8 cares about. But I do lol. My best time which unfortunately isn't recorded but I do have the time slip for is a 10.6@131 w/ stage 2 apr tune. I can hang with a lightly modded gtr until about 130 while massaging myself 😂

Hey man, first of all great video, loving the audi, I have a question for your GT-R that you can hopefully answer, i've heard horror stories about the GT-R transmissions, like how Nissan is ripping off people by just changing the transmission when something minor fails on it instead of fixing the issue and they apparently claim it is not "repairable" and ask 25k for a new one, I have heard that apparently the transmission is repairable and that there are shops that perform these kinds of repairs, is it true? If yes, do you know by any chance how much cheaper it is? By the way, have you had any issues with your transmission and if so, what was it and how expensive was the repair?

The 2010 and 2009 GTTR are the only cars that seem too have some transmissions issues. 2014+ is the best to get since they are extremely strong. But yeah the Nissan dealer is the worst place to take a GTR to! They will absolutely rip you off all day long. There are plenty of performance shops that specialize in the GTR that can repair the trans if anything goes wrong. I had a friend who bought one that wouldn't go into reverse. He got it for cheap since the dealer thought it needed a new trans. He spent like $150 of a part and fixed it. The trans have come down in price tho. About $10k now

The 7 series is more luxurious feeling while the S8 is more sporty, yet still luxurious. Personally I would choose the Audi because I like them more lol, but if you are looking at either, check them out to see what you like for each one!

I must say...with the overgrown kidneys of the new 7 Series and the Tesla ripoff interior of the new S Class, I’m liking the A8/S8 more and more...there are some other vehicles in this class that might be more tempting to me personally, but of the big 3 German automakers, this would probably be my choice.

Audi does not use Harman Kardon. The standard stereo in the 2021 Audi S8 is a 17 speaker, 730 watt Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system. The optional stereo is a 23 speaker, 1,920 watt Bang & Olufsen 3D “Advanced” sound system.

@@homes24 I knew I’d find an asinine comment like yours. ALL cars depreciate you’re not telling anyone anything we don’t know. People who can afford it, like myself, have excellent credit and income. I will pay it off in 4yrs with 0% interest. If you have to wait 3 to 4 years to afford a vehicle, you are not the wisest person considering by the time you are finished paying off that vehicle it will be roughly 8 to 10 years old with all the mileage the previous owner put plus yours. At this price point, anyone who can afford it is not pinching for pennies. With excellent credit, you will not be upside down on your car loan the way most people that have mediocre credit. Those are the ones that lose out on a vehicle and depreciation because they spend a large chunk of their money paying interest for 5 to 7 years. If that’s you, stick to a Civic

Yes it does! But a Lamborghini Gallardo also had a higher starting price new vs new. You can buy a Gallardo as low as $80K now, but that'll be a 2004, not a 2021 like this Audi! Just depends on what you are looking for and want, these are competitor vehicles.
