So Joe Santoni is apart of D Capella And Elliott Robinson was the bass of Home free before Tim (and most of the clips without a video are from home free) After Home free he was with 7th Avenue vocal band (which has Chris rupp in it) And now he’s apart of Axiom Vocal That live clip is the bass track of the pitch perfect 2 Germany team (it was studio produced btw) (i just copy and pasted this comment from qofys reaction haha)

Elliot used to be the bass for Home Free back in 2012-2014 era if I remember correctly, now hes apart of Axiom Vocal Group and his lowest chest note is F1/E1. Joe is apart of DCappella and his lowest chest note F#1 as shown in the video

Elliott Robinson is one of the best basses on the planet. He's worked with so many major a cappella groups in the past, including Home Free and The House Jacks (who Matt Sallee sang with before joining Pentatonix). Like Tim and Geoff, Elliott also has a wicked good high range.

As already said, Elliott is a former HF member. The jazzy song you liked him in was from the group Chris Rupp started with his sister after leaving HF, "7th Ave". The song was "Straight Up and Down". I really enjoy these types of videos, especially being able to hear the notes and seeing them defined in writing. My question however, is the word "battle". Is it meant to be some sort of competition? And if so, is it strictly on who hits the lowest note (or for other classifications, the highest?) No judgement, I'm honestly curious. I love, love, love bass, but I also feel there's more to good bass singing than just being able to hit a very low note.

That C#1 in oogie boogie, isn't subharmonics though. It's not even a C#1. It's a C#2 & a C#3 combined together with some weird production stuff, which made it sound like a C#1.

I am going into 8th grade currently and I can get down to a C1 with my subharmonics, F1 with my growl technique, and EB1 with my chest. D1 where you guys are at is the rough spot between my subharmonics and my chest. Anyways I love your content please continue to do your best. You have my full support. Elliot could easily win this battle, but his chest range is so freaking low that he doesn't need to use other techniques. I'm not as blessed myself, only having Eb2 on a bad day, and on a good day with morning voice with a cold, I think I've hit Ab1 in full chest without mixing in any vocal fry. Chest fry mix I can usually hit E1 ish before I lose my chest note.

My grand piano can go to g#0 because its out of tune and the first note that was supposed to be a0 is the most out of key note on the piano everything else sounds closer to 440 than 432 hertz mostly 435 hertz

To me the fact that Eliott can do those super low notes in chest is not important, as the subharmonic method has a lot more resonance and volume, so why not use the technique that will give you the best results.

No Tim Storms, Tomi P. or Dan Mirabal. Again you should check out "Alien Voices" Part 1 and 2. These are done right, each person featured are clearly labeled with their name and the singing techniques, though we don't need a name label for Avi or Dimash. And in their description box they give the name of the song that they are singing.
