Hey I am trying to figure out if the 3.5mm microphone jack can send out power to microphones? Or can I only use microphones with their own power source? Thanks

you need to trim back the bass in your intro and outro tracks, they are a bit bass heavy

Other than the Lumix G Vario 45-100mm F-4.0-5.6 lens, which other lens would you recommend for good bokeh (with autofocus and zoom)?
@gospelpopmusic2 жыл бұрын
I know you're not asking me Fareed, my goal is the $1,795 studio 4k with the Vazen 40mm T2 Anamorphic 4/3rd lens for my studio. After that I'll purchase the $5,995.00 12k with the Zeiss Cp.3 85mm T2.1 lens and make my musical podcast show from my recording studio.

I don't suppose this is good for filming outside right?
@xtribe32562 жыл бұрын
It will function well in a controlled environment (on a set). The screen is bright enough and has a sun shade. However it's not water resistant, and not a good choice for handheld filming, it doesn't have a battery and it would be awkward to operate. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K / 6K is more versatile for outdoor use.

We're using the Neewer Plastic 15mm Matte Box. It is height adjustable. The rods were not included, we've used two of the SmallRig 12 Inches (30 cm) Aluminum Alloy 15mm rods.

Can it do high frame rate videos recording in 60FPS and be slowed down in post production ?
@xtribe32563 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can set it to 60 FPS for the entire project, or you can set 60 FPS as "off speed recording" that you can then trigger using one of the custom function keys. You can then slow it down in post.

How many hour we can record continuously and there is any chance to connect battery??
@xtribe32563 жыл бұрын
The only limit to recording time would be related to the storage capacity of the USB-C drive you attach. With a 1TB SSD drive in Blackmagic RAW 4K you can record approximately 8 hours. To connect a battery it would have to act as an external power supply, providing 12V DC. You could use a V-Mount battery (as people often do with the URSA) and connect it to the camera using a D-Tap 12V DC locking 5.5 mm barrel connector cable. The camera uses 15 to 22W.

@@JSSDOTPRODUCTIONS We've only tested it up to 4 hours but most likely you won't have any issues streaming continuously for longer. It does not overheat nor drop frames.

Still not impressed. Why didn't blackmagic studio camera 4k plus/pro go all out? High and low angle of view practicality is very bad in practical use if the viewfinder image cannot be viewed. Why doesn't blackmagic design allow the viewfinder to tilt up and down? It's going to have the versatility and beautiful angles that a studio should be. For a little while, you'll be dominating the market in this industry but you don't make it happen. Hopefully this comment the design engineers of blackmagic design will see and make it.
@xtribe32562 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question! For their 6K family (Pro & G2) Blackmagic does offer an optional viewfinder that can be mounted on top of the camera, with 70 degree range of motion. There is no option to add a viewfinder to a Studio camera family.
