Yep. Honda being one of the best ever with their K24's producing upwards to 500hp with ease on 15-20lbs of boost out of a 4 banger are now making 1.5L grenades for engines. BMW shitting all over Honda's legacy with the B58 being the best straight 6 ever produced. And yeah, I'm a Honda guy. My next car should I ever have the funds will indeed be a A91 Supra 6spd Manual.

because inline 6 sounds good and v6's sounds like crap most of the time

@Supraifyification Nah I disagree. They barely sound any different, especially in the high rev range (7k+). There are just A LOT more V6s on the road so we get a bigger sample of sounds to hear from. Plus there are still a bunch of naturally aspirated V6s out there, so you tend to hear the full engine/exhaust more. There are barely any naturally aspirated I6s anymore. Pretty much ever I6 is a turbo now days, which mutes the engine/exhaust sound.

@@Maljey Disagree, but true that the turbo has done damage to the sound. However you can clearly tell the difference between a BMW inline 6 cylinder or some sort of japanese or american V6. There are some ok sounding v6's out there but its hard to get a good sound without spending a lot of money on exhaust systems. On a bmw you can just do a muffler delete and it will sound amazing and its a distinct sound. The same with a porsche 6.

@@Supraifyificationdude it’s the other way around 😂. Undersquare Inline 6s sound like shit compared to a oversquare v6. The vr38dett sounds 10x better. A v6 sounds miles ahead of an inline 6. An oversquare or square inline 6 sounds far better than an undersquare one.

@@2seepYou again.. The biggest thing is how the exhaust manifold (headers/turbo manifold) is designed. A good example of this would be a first gen Ford Fusion sport 3.0l V6 (not to be confused with the 2.7l turbo Fusion sport from the second generation). The reason it sounds like an N55/B58 is due to the header/exhaust manifold design. As for what sounds better, that’s obviously subjective, i think we can agree on that
