Oh and it may only be 200 lbs but rotational mass is 3 times that of unsprung mass so it’s definitely more than 200 lbs. what you really want to know is how much heavier the wheel and tire package is and multiple that by 3. Rotational mass is what breaks stuff if you really start offroading it. We just got out bronco so we will know soon how well it really does.

@ 5:00 This FabTech 3 in Coilover did just as well as that Rubicon with a 4 in lift ..within a few inches In my opinion .... on this dirt hill . Our Jeep Wrangler drives at 80-90 no problem with 1 finger on the wheel. Having proper suspension and steering and alignment goes a long way in a jeep driving correctly. Oh and we have 45” of flex with a forklift on 40” tires. The bronco drives amazing Offroad but the soft top is way louder than a jeep is.

The look amazing when you're just pavement pimpin... But any type of real off roading and you'll quickly find they're FAR too large for that lift. Any real articulation of the suspension and you'll QUICKLY realize they're far too big. Those babies can and WILL rub like a MOFO. However, for general driving and parking lot pimping, they look awesome 👍🏼😎🤟🏼💯🇺🇸

Good content. I do have a bronco, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep gladiator. I have 37 inch maxis on both Jeep’s with a 3 1/2 Clayton lift and teralex shocks. There is no shaking, wondering on either Jeep’s. Some Jeep’s wander because they don’t do their homework. They modify adjust, Change sacrifice handling with 200.00 less lift kits. See how you do your homework, you also have money, the resources to experiment

Wonder if it would be worth while to test the articulation of the fabtech lift with the stock tires to get a truer sense of what the suspension does vs. having the bigger meats getting stuffed into the fenders?

Also, regarding the gearing since you mentioned it on having 37s, I have a Sas 2.7 Badlands and I still get an average of 17MPG even when I speed to 90-95MPH. I’m a believer in gearing property, so maybe having bigger tires it needs the shorter gears to compensate? But if it can be proven that having 37s where the MPG is the same as is best MPG when going at higher speeds? I hope that makes sense 🤷🏻😂

Weird question you might know. How come I don’t get my stock wheels if I upgrade my wheels? Seems like I should get the stock since I am paying a markup on different wheels. Like for a bronco, how come I wouldn’t get stock wheels in my vehicle as well as Sasquatch on my vehicle? I’m paying $4k for wheels and tires but don’t get to keep the stockies.
@Derbonne2 жыл бұрын
Great question. I ordered the Sasquatch Badlands in Carbonized Grey with the hard top. 4K seems high. I almost wished I would have purchased Nittos like I did for my sons 2021 Ranger.
@mattcanich2 жыл бұрын
Because when you upgrade from the factory the cost shown is for the difference between the stock wheels/tires/ suspension and the upgraded stuff. For example, the MIC top is not a $695 top, that's just the difference in total cost from the soft top.
@jrcullen23072 жыл бұрын
@@mattcanich yeah but on a badlands you’re paying about $2500 for beadlock wheels that you can’t do anything with unless you dedicate that pair to just wheeling and tires that are $1000-1200 for the full set. Doesn’t make sense. If I go for the tube doors do I not get my stock doors?

35s are enough tire for the Broncos. The factory tires and wheels need to go though. I wouldn't spend the money for that sasquatch package because it's all cheap stuff. Much rather have a higher quality lift kit and true beadlock rims with the best tires I can get.
@MTCKIE682 жыл бұрын
@Toasty Yeah but it's not that much difference between the gears. Especially if you have a manual. It's just not worth it in my opinion. I'd much rather have a better lift kit, rim's and tires. They've got great tuning for the engine and upgrades for it also.

5:41 37”s is overdoing it. You can’t grind your wheels like that, that’s just stupid. In what world is that acceptable, except the world of posers who have no intention of extreme off-roading but just want to look like they do. This is the equivalent of taking something already perfectly engineered from the factory like a 911 GT3 and then slamming it with an “upgraded” suspension and exhaust. No.
