A beautiful luxury Sedan. Yes, a SEDAN! Not another crossover or SUV. Personally, I'd move up to a CT5 for a smidge more rearseat room. Great thorough review as always, sir! Thanks.

I traded in my Chrysler 300 a year ago for a new CT4 Premium Luxury 350T (2.0 twin turbo). IMO, you don't need the 2.7 engine. I've put 10,000 miles on my car (Satin Steel Metallic with the Cinnamon interior - I get tons of compliments on the combination ) and the acceleration still presses you to the back of your seat. On two lane on ramps, I pass everything else easily before getting on the Interstate. With the smaller engine, I AVERAGE 25 mpg with mostly in town driving. When on the highway, I can get close to 35 mpg cruising nicely between 75 and 80. It is a much smaller package than the 300 and you really do give up the rear seat for regular adults. If you have 3 or 4 passengers on a regular basis, I would recommend the CT5. I test drove that when I got the CT4 and I think that does need the bigger engine as that car weighs about 600 lbs. more, without passengers. The smaller engine is also mated to an 8 speed, not the 10 speed, transmission. I think the gears are better suited with the 8 speed than the ten. I've heard reviewers like this one complain about the 10 speed and note that the 8 speed on the smaller engine seems to be a better match. So, maybe you can save some money with the standard drive train. I think you'll have a better driving experience, be more fuel efficient and not miss the performance. That would open up other option possibilities like a sunroof which my car has and I really enjoy. Oh, and my experience includes a 3,000 mile round trip from Michigan to Florida in winter conditions. IMO, you do not need the AWD option unless you really are in the snow belt all the time. Hope this helps. Highly recommend this car. VERY COMFORTABLE AND QUIET. Great handling. Much like a go-cart with the lower seating position.

Great Video Sam...another homerun for Cadillac...I think the whole car both from an interior and exterior are outstanding..especially the driving lights...i just can't get over that rear end...they really need to drop the "spoiler" and please fill in the exhaust tips....otherwise its a nice looking ride...GM and quality..who knew?

I just purchased a 2021CT4 2.0T. GREAT CAR!!! I’m averaging 33.5 mph and the best I’ve seen for 50 miles was 41.7 mph. Florida driving. I have the Satin Steel with cinnamon leather ( premium). If you test drive it I think you will buy one.

Just took a test drive yesterday in the CT4... I don't need a large vehicle with 600hp to get around. I was surprised at the comfort and the power the CT4 had with the 2.0T engine! Plenty of "Get-Up & Go". I don't understand why I've only seen a couple of these cars on the road, there should be more! Must be Cadillac doesn't know how to sell the CT4 & CT5, I'm so tired seeing SUVs dominating the streets, I think they're over-rated for what you get. I'd hate to purchase this car, finding out later Cadillac plans on discontinuing this vehicle... Cadillac has a reputation for doing that! The CT4 has had great reviews, I'm just wondering about the longevity...

Read that Lincoln has discontinued all sedans in favor of SUV'S. I see SUV's everywhere. Bad on gas, tires are more expensive, and repair jobs are over the top. Good luck!!

Great review. This is on the top of my list right now to replace my wife's Chrysler 300. Do you think the fuel mileage will improve a bit with break in? It's not terrible as you say but should be better for sure.

You make some really great point particularly with engine and mpg. Overall, I really want to like this car. The exterior is good looking (excluding the back end). However, that infotainment center needs to be upgraded. GM is using the same for almost all their products across their different brands. Cadillac should be better and have that premium quality

how small is this car. I have the xt4 and I think it’s big and want smaller maybe. thinking ct4 sport or ct4 v because of the outside looks. premium luxury doesn’t have good outside looks.

Too many incentives can tilt the scales on resale value and hence a good residual for small lease payments. That is why most American brand cars don't lease well.

OMG a truck motor! Certainly not like the Vette, Cadillacs, and Chevy trucks have always share the same motor all along. Please say no! This is not natural! Next you will tell me the Colorado had a 3.6 that Cadillac also used. I'm being facetious but you get the point.

is that a buick? A lincoln? Imagine being insane enough to spend money on a Ford/GM luxury car, they are worthless tbh.
@LORD-xg2ks2 жыл бұрын
I dont think theyre worthless but they are behind their competition, if they cost accordingly then that would be a valid excuse.
