This presentation is from the 2021 EDS ECHO Summit: Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS). vEDS is a genetic connective tissue disorder that causes the blood vessels and organs to be fragile and prone to tearing. Dr. John Westley Ohman is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Vascular Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. He joined the Section of Vascular Surgery after completing training, where he has a clinical and research practice focusing on the open, endovascular, and hybrid treatment of aortic disease.
