2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2L: Is This The Silverado Package To Get???

I actually have a 2021 Silverado LTZ with the 6.2 liter and Max tow package. When reviewing or comparing to Ford and Ram I have not seen anyone test with the actual Max Tow package. The heavier payload and additional power we get from the 3.42 (9 inch) HD rear housing and differential must be a little to scary for them to test against the best Ford and Ram have to offer.

Yep, I'd say it's the 6.2 or forget it. I test drove both the 5.3 and the 6.2. Big difference for sure.

If it's like my 2021 TB the rear backup lights are halogen as well as the license plate lights. I changed them out for like 30 bucks with Lasfit LEDs. It's sad for 60K Chevy is so cheap here and there. Haha

It actually looks better than the Sierra in my opinion. The interior is not bad at all. The problem is, it has been looking the same since 2013.

In my honest opinion the new Sierra looks better than the Silverado. The new body style of the Silverado isn’t that appealing and the Sierra looks way better from any angle you look at it but Even if the Sierra looks better the Silverado still outsells the Sierra and the reason for that is that the Silverado is more popular than the Sierra.

@@7thkev519 the sierra to me is a little weird from some angles. the silverado to me looks better. I think its the fenders on the sierra that makes it look weird and some what ugly. the silverado has a more basic design there.

I got a 2020 RST 6.2 10speed.Paid 10k less than an LTZ.Have no camera vanish,no sunroof,no lane departure,no Z71,no autozone chromed out package.Everything else i have.22"s,Silverado side steps,color matched and body rock moulding(yours does not have) Shes been through the snow and the desert.No issues.I'll take mine all day.

I purchased my brand new 2021 Silverado crewcab Ltz z71 6.2 for $46k after all rebates, knowing how to haggle the price on a new car means a lot! For mid $40 ish... your gonna get a f150 xlt with cloth and a 2.7 lol and I wouldn’t buy ram over ford or Chevy just my opinion. Ford does have a better interior, but not worth an extra $15K lol

@@davidbos2887 I got 6.2...a good family friend told the engine the Trans and rear end..oh the year..2019...looked for days found three two black one silver.. I didn't realize the mistake on rear end.. Till I got home along door ding..I got a lower higher gear..if I baby it on hwy get 25 But in town 16 I think..maybe lower..im afraid to really find out..the whole reason was millage..I thought 6.2 was big mistake Should have gotten smaller engine But the other engine was not much better If I drive crazy or pull something ....im screwed...but sweet ride and comfort A/c ain't all that cold.. im going to test drive one to double check...

If you are willing to pay the extra optional price tag for the 6.2l and the premium fuel it will require for the best efficiency and performance. Definitely get the 6.2l. The combo of the 6.2l and 10 speed transmission is like peanut butter and jelly. Absolutely perfect. I absolutely love my 2020 Silverado LTZ 1500 ccsb 6.2l.

I smoke my buddies 2020 ram hemi by 4 trucks 0 to 100 mph lol i also beat my brothers f150 5.0 10 spd by almost 2 whole trucks... the 6.2 is the way to go

Congrats Mr. Lee!! I paid a little more for mine last July. But I got a great deal considering the circumstances. When I purchased mine. There was zero inventory. I ordered my truck exactly the way I wanted last February. Due to the factories shutting down. I didn’t take delivery till mid July. But it was worth the wait. If you can manage to keep your right foot 🦶 𝘖𝘍𝘍 the go pedal. You can get 24mpg on the highway cruising at 65mph. But it’s really hard to not hit the gas pedal. Because the sound is absolutely intoxicating. I can’t wait to install the Borla S-Type cat back exhaust in the spring. Then it will sound like a real truck. Good luck!

@@BenHardyCars there are thousands of 2021 F-150's sitting outside the plant ready to be shipped. I had a chance to talk to a guy who works at the factory in the forum, he said that Ford is doing a lot of testing before shipping them to make sure nothing goes wrong.

@@seattleguy8230 he’s full of shit. I’ve had both, kept the 6.2L. You get about 2 mpg more on the highway with the 5.3 but you have nowhere near the power. Not knocking the 5.3, it was good… but the 6.2 is a beast

Not a fan of the LTZ because of the chrome front end. I had a 17 LTZ because back then it was all color coded. That changed in 2019. Also not a huge fan of those wheels.
