Yeah, this truck is pretty amazing. We are supposed to take this thing camping at some point. I will try to do a a overland video on this bad boy in action. Thanks for watching.

Which F150 is that, the Raptor, Platinum, Lariat, XLT, I'd really like to know. And I agree, I love those tires, and their offset. How was that offset achieved, did it come standard, did it happen because a larger tire was put on, or some other way, and what size wheel is that? It's a beaut!

Good stuff. Any thoughts on the pro's or con's of a set up like this, on one of the F150's, but comparing the 5.5' and 6.5' bed choices? That looks like the 6.5' bed in this video. The Raptor and Tremor are only 5.5's, but say the Platinum could be either and could be modified with a lift/level, bigger 35 tires, a bit of an offset, and upgraded suspension components to hopefully make it more off road capable as well. The Platinum can also come with the Powerboost hybrid which I really like, but I'm hearing rumors that the 2025 Tremor may offer that as an option too Any thoughts on the vehicle choices as well?

Thank you for the video! I’ve been trying to decide if an F150 Tremor with trail turn assist or an F150 Powerboost (that you can’t get at the Tremor trim level) is best. Curious as to the cost of all the suspension upgrades that make this a Powerboost tremor and the MPG with all of it! Thank you

I asked David what his set up cost and this is his response. Cool let's see.. BDS suspension kit with Fox 2.5 Coilovers in front and Fox 2.0s in back $4300.00 Icon Upper control arms. $1000.00 Install labor $ 1450.00 Wheels Fuel Rebels in bronze 20x9 with +1 offset Toyo AT3s 35x12.5 Together wheel and tire $3500ish. Hope this helps, Josh!

Great video! I too have a 21 Powerboost 6.5 bed that I am slowly modifying for overland. I am curious to know how much the suspension and tire combo decrease MPG, Or maybe better yet how the whole current rig setup does on MPG. Also, why a 2.5 in the front and 2.0s in the back? Does that result in a level stance? Am i understanding this correctly then, that the truck technically isn't lifted with those kits? I probably am completely wrong on my understanding of fox suspension kits. Again, much thanks for a great video, glad to see more powerboost overland content getting put out there. Josh and Dave thanks and keep it easy!

@@nicholasespinoza9860 the 2.5 is more of a level lift. So no need to do anything to the rear. If you want the rear to lift to look like factory you will need to add a rear block. I really think ford nailed the powerboost and seems very reasonable in price compared to just the 3.5 ecoboost. Seems like it should be around a $5k option for a powerboost with all the tech involved. You will need less maintenance due to regen braking and engine turned off 30% of the time if your easy on the pedal

Just got for the powerboost man. I’ve had it for close to 6 months, and I absolutely love it. The hybrid system is so incredibly versatile. Wouldn’t trade it for anything

@@nicholasespinoza9860 I know this is a late reply, but 2.5” and 2.0” here is referring to the shock body diameter. The bigger the shock, the more fluid the shock will hold and the more resistance to shock fade it will have.

What brand is that air compressor in the back?

I asked my friend David, he said its an ARB single compressor.

Is this the 6.5 or 5.5 foot bed? Hard to tell at times and looks a lot like 6.5, but have been trying to decide between the two with the supercrew myself and this setup looks great!
@JDMRightHandDrive2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay, I asked my friend David and he says its a 6.5' bed.
@carbb5760 Жыл бұрын
Get the 6.5 bed. 5.5 is pretty useless.

with the lift how did you make sure your cv axle stays straight like that? I put eibach springs on my 2018 raptor and my cv axle is at a slight angle now.
@marcusyoung28706 ай бұрын
Diff drop most likely. A little angle isn't terrible

Great looking truck. Is that a 4" or 6" lift? Also, is that a 20x9 or 20x10 wheel and is that 35/12.5 R20 or is it the metric sizing??
