@@TheSkrillexRemix if you look up unbiased people doing the math overall pollution for electric cars is still lower than gas cars. Don’t get me wrong cobalt and lithium extraction is terrible the local environment but the impact outside of the immediate area of extraction is lower than burning fossil fuels. Also you don’t have to buy an electric car. Even if new gas cars are banned they will never be able to buy back all gas cars so used gas cars will always be available. Also especially in the United States every state and municipality makes their own laws so there will never be a unilateral acceptance of banning gas cars. You may think a federal law would be capable of banning gas cars but the reason weed is legal in certain states and federally illegal is the same reason gas cars will never be banned

With more and more "bans" being proposed, something that is often overlooked is the rate battery tech is improving. Not sure about the BMW, but on the Mach E there is a digital keypad on the drivers door that will get you in the car and then a separate 10 digit code you can enter in the center screen to start the car. If your phone dies, you don't have a key and you don't know the codes, then you're locked out.

9/10 it’s the phone. I’ve learned over the years when dealing with iPhones and keeping them for a little bit longer than they expect people to do so. They “try” to keep the phones up to date with the new ones. Keyword “try” But we all know they want you to buy a new phone.

I am not pleased that Ford has cheaped out on the 2 keys

Hey Matt, have you asked if it is possible to request/buy a second key so that you both could have one with your specific settings?
@scott46923 жыл бұрын
What I've heard to date is that you can buy one from the dealership, but they're expensive. I'm hopeful Ford subsidizes this for Mach E owners...we'll see...

you can buy one but they are very expensive (like, $599)
@moniack3 жыл бұрын
@@TheSmokingTire that's ridiculous. Obviously this is for cost savings, but they could offer 1 extra key at $100 and still make money. An extra fob for our Volt was $35 plus $20 for the dealer to cut the key. Then I programed it in the driveway at home.

Really nice update review. On the suspension you guys nailed the description perfectly and I feel the same issue. Never owned a car out of many that felt quite like this. What would you recommend (other than swapping out for the GT) as a fix for the suspension? You think replacing the shocks or the springs could fix that?

How bad is it? I didn’t feel this on my test drive - but it was on relatively smooth roads.

I know I'm a bit late to this conversation, but the iPhone X did have a different radio than any previous iPhones, and was known to have issues with wireless CarPlay.

The under dampened suspension bounce is the same thing that occurs on the Model 3 (non-performance). One thing I would change about it. Doesn’t happen on Audi A4s I have owned.

That hatch cover didn't "get out of factory" like that. It was designed that way (cheap).

Matt, are the seats in the GT (non-performance) squishy bolstered also?

Lmao, when he reviewed the Tesla Model 3 he said the fact it could charge at home on a 110 volt outlet was a bad thing because it meant Tesla was "pushing" the car too much, but with the mustang he's like "oh I can keep t charged at home, it's great!"

What about road trips? Fast-charging, etc?

You can switch user profiles on the screen at the top, the dotted looking button.

It seems to me that one should wait a year before buying this. By then hopefully they will iron out any kinks.
