Somalia 🇸🇴 faces no armed conflict despite foreign actors trying hard. The last 3 election had peaceful power transfer. Somalia oil bidding winners will be confirmed in March. It has the longest coastline in mainland Africa with the most ports and owes no debt to China. The civil war was a blessing for its resources that were not looted by multi nationals ✌️

I think more attention needs to be given to the French sphere of influence in west africa. It's literally 21st century colonialism but somehow gets much less attention than China's infrastructure projects.

Free Trade is a smokescreen. The basics need to be tackled first. Transparency and stability of power transfers, retention of state revenues and resources. Thomas Sankara was murdered for actually making great achievements in this process.
@sagmilling3 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Each country & region should do what they are good at and trade for things they are not so good at producing. If you have natural resources, then trade those for manufactured goods, then start manufacturing consumables your resource industries need. The hard part is avoiding corruption stealing away the people's revenues. Chile, Canada, Australia, Norway, and even the USA are examples of this leverage that can turn into a more diversified economy.

It's so sad what is happening and what has happened to and in Africa. Its the great shame of the world in my opinion. Here in Britain most people have nothing but tokenistic 'sympathy' for Africa, whilst looking down on them and not really understanding the roots of the issues.

Africa is one continent I would never ever visit. It is a continent of enormous potential and enormous self hate and misery . Name one country in Africa that is safe to visit. Christianity was there before my country ever existed yet where are the great cathedrals? Where are the continent wide highways that connect the countries. What happened to the dreams of Mandela? Civilization started in Africa but still there are no middle class in the countries. It isn’t just racial either. The native people of the Atlas Mountains are as white as any European. All the countries in the Americas started as colonies and countries in Asia were colonies at one time. Why is it that Africa alone never recovered from colonialism? When will Africans from north to south and East to west develop a middle class?

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and repent. :)
