I know you mentioned you purchased an XL, how tall are you and do you feel that an XL is the appropriate size for your height? I’m 6’5” and I am getting ready to purchase the same bike and was just curious about what you thought of the XL model. Thanks

I just ordered this bike from my local shop, because no one had them in stock in my size. With taxes and a handling fee it was about $800. That hurt a little but I'm still excited to see it get here. Haven't had a good bike in a while and I'm happy to see someone using this model on a pretty gnarley trail.

Own this bike taken it on some serious trails and even in moabs slick rock. I love the 1x system but after riding for months on it. I would change the crank and pedals if budget allows. Also possibly upgrading the drive train for more serious stuff but I love the frame and style for a hardtail.
@UltraTrailSteven3 жыл бұрын
Yeah the pedal definitely could use an upgrade. I wish I had better gearing for longer gravel rides, but I am still very happy with it!

@UltraTrailSteven3 жыл бұрын
The 29er will be best for road and light trail. The 29 inch gives it fast rolling momentum, which is better for road. If you want to do more trails, then the 27.5 would be better.

i have it 1 season. Full option, hydrajlic breaks... I add suntout seat suspenson, different tires and few things on. Generaly: back wheal ( szprychy /Polish) was not tight enough and make terrible noize. after 2-3 months street ride everything stops working... I mean all moving parts stop moving... pedals, korbowod, wheals... big time. I spread things and put a grease at each possible part... it is a shame that Geant put not enough grease for one season. Genaraly, first ride and front tire become flat... some plant was harder that this standard tires... disasaster. Ok, thinks like that happen... Thing which is most annoing is the frqme... when you drive and move a frame like shake a front wheel ... all become goi g in resonanse ... I wonder, when resonanse will crack the welding point below a seat. The same resonanse happen when you drive when not holding the stearing... I am not sure that this particular product is worth the money which they ask. I purchse that product as new at the court auction cor half price... so, no shame or regret... 500 usd is not much. But if I will pay full price... I will think twice befor that choice.
