I have the same one 2019 iron I added fork brace,steering dampner, SS 2 into 1 headers, cone air cleaner, fuel pack, a little bigger fairing, Led lights same foot pegs in black Le Pera seat, rear progressive springs n did it all by myself not hard at all I've owned 3 bigger Harleys n I love my sportster it feels really light n handling feels like my dirt bikes I would never think I'd own one but I do not regret it there way better n faster than the older sportster always stay safe n careful riding stay blessed

Hello Nick! I happen to notice you have New Hampshire plates. I also live in New Hampshire. I have a 2016 Harley 48 and have also done a ton of modifications to it over the winter. Always start with rear shocks. Little progressive goes a long way.

I made the same mistake with this exact drag seat its very hard and will not soften up with ride time after this i went with the saddlemen lariat with backrest custom made black and red over all sweet bike brother 👌 give saddlemen a chance bro the seat will change ur mind

Good to know! I’ve had this seat now for a few months and it’s not very comfortable like you mentioned…will most likely order a Saddlemen. Thanks for the feedback man!

@@sportsternicky7905 n.p also look into the harley mini floorboards much more space i use to run the pegs like ur until I found the mini boards wider and many more rest positions for ur feet im running mid controls

I have the exact same bike and I tried to flip the mirrors, but I was running into the brake like. Did you do anything special?

I ran into the same issue. After some adjustments I was able to move the brake line a bit but my mirror slightly touches it. Nothing special though, not much you can really do.

I was looking at getting a front fairing for mine to give it that nice Dyna look but clean bike! I would ask though, What diameter did you get for your grips? I don't wanna buy some and they are too big or too small.

A year old I know, but if you’re blacking it out, change all the bolts to black stainless ones, and find black pegs.

Hey man, good video, I have your exact bike but it's still stock. Question , did you feel a good difference in performance with the air filter , pipes and tune? I'm wondering if I should put money into performance as a first mod.thanks

Thank you! With the full stage 1 (air filter, exhaust, tune), you’ll definitely feel a difference in power. I noticed a difference in 2nd and 3rd gear mostly, you can feel that extra power especially at higher rpms. Plus it sounds sick 🤘🏼 ride safe man!

Wrapping around the sissy bar? Lol usually they’re bungee cords or something of the like so you can actually strap stuff to it.

Question… I have the 2020 Iron.. same bike actually. My question is: when I run at 65 mph my engine turns at exactly 3,000 rpms. If I installed a complete stage 1 … would it lower my rpms at the same 65 mph..?? PS… check out MOTORCYCLING WITH CARL. He has the 2019 Iron and has a bunch of mods he’s done. Good video..!! 👍👍

Thank you!! I wish I knew more about the Stage 1 and how it affects the bikes rpms but unfortunately I don’t know the answer. All I can really say is I noticed a difference in power all together 👍🏼
