Brilliant video - thank you. In Australia, I am able to raise the windows by pressing and holding the ‘lock’ button on the key fob. Works perfectly.

Great video. Best advice I got because my infotainment kept locking up was to let it boot up fully before plugging your phone in. At least to that screen where you have to agree. Ive not had an issue since.

One feature I found is you can temporarily disable walk-away auto lock by opening the rear door hold the key fob over the rear hatch and then closing the rear door. You won't get a beep and the car won't lock when you walkaway unless you come back and open a door and close it again.

You can raise your windows by inserting your key into the key slot on the door and holding it to the lock position

Also you can lock the windows with the actual key from the handle

On my 2018 USDM I can roll the windows up with the key slot in the door handle. Same procedure just key turns instead of button presses.

Underneath the rear bumper right next to the 3 tips exhaust there is a hard point for a car jack to lift up the car from the rear

Only GT version has it, when car is locked hold the lock button for 2 sec

Windows can also go up if you hold the lock button and all 4 windows go up. No need to close them manually in the car. As I have 2017 FK8 =]

​@Eddie M Cars you can lock the car when the engine is on. Take the key out from the key fob and insert key into car door and lock it manually. So engine is on and door is locked and no one can get in. To unlock do the same process. Can't lock the door with the key fob button.

Push the lock button a second time to fold the mirrors, break hold will release itself on a very steep incline.

2:26 I always wondered why my fk8 and fk7 can roll windows down via remote, but can't go back up. (Though with with fk7** it can be rolled up from outside the car by placing the key fab key section inside the door directly and turning) The xgen accord can go both up and down using remote key fab kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKepZIRnjadsjKs

No idea if this is an Australian thing, but I am able to roll all the windows back up by doing the same thing using the 'lock' button on the remote. Works perfectly.

United States sees it as safety a risk. The only vehicle from the factory that can do that is the Tesla but I hard rumors they have to remove that with their latest update due to NTHSA regulations.

The rev2 fk8 can put up all windows as well as lower via the key fob

LKAS in Honda is great, but here's my issue... If you have it on, and don't sometimes move the wheel it will indeed turn itself off. That's how they designed it, so that you don't do something stupid like the whole Tesla thing did. HOWEVER... If for some reason you do not see that it's going to turn off, it just lets you go. The safety feature of this maybe should just turn off? Should maybe slow the car? I've had 3 hondas with LKAS and thought about that every time. I don't use it on my Type R because driving is the whole point in this car.

I keep my hand on the wheel for most of the time. Only occasionally both with come off but temporarily. Like most systems, the paint on the roads can confuse it

its so dumb that you cant put the windows back up with the fob. That would be so boujie!! btw, you don't have to hold down the highbeam switch to turn on auto high beam just flick it once and it will turn on auto, flick again to turn off :)
