I was lucky enough for my dad to buy me a new KTM and i think it was $11k out the door at the time for a 350. My 2005 KX250 handles better than the KTM though

Zach Lester Honda will never bring the 2 strokes back. Honda were the ones that lobbied for all of the regulations to give 4 strokes advantages in both Supercross and MotoGP.

It'll never happen. 2-strokes are just too efficient and cheap. They want you to spend thousands on an engine rebuild every couple of years.

@@delectablydiabolical340 so true lmao 2 strokes are more bullet proof since it is in the dirt if something goes into a 4 stroke engine it is more catastrophic because there is valves timing chain and a lot more moving parts costing more money. if dirt gets into a 2 stroke cylinder will go bad or the piston or the worst the crankshaft which all and all 2 strokes are half the price to rebuild and if you maintain a 2 stroke correctly replacing a piston every year for about 100 dollars it will last a very long time.

I love the look of these new models.. I’ve always had full red plastics on my Honda bikes and love the fact they come all red and have black rims, disc guard, sump guard and radiator louvers.. I’ve left the suspension stock on mine because I love how it handles and don’t want to mess with it yet.

@@gabrielederi6643 It hooks in from front to back when you put the seat on because when you would seat bounce jumps on the old design, the seat would want to unhook itself by sliding backwards from the applied pressure. Now the hooks are flipped so it only hooks tighter when the seat slides backwards.

Gabriele Deri the seat slides into its locked position from the front to back, and bolts on both sides in center. When you accelerate the seat is locked to the bike rather than the rider trying to pull the seat off

Raised headtube to cradle, centerport exhaust, you can now shove a cr500 motor in there with only simple motor mount, and air cleaner, exhaust modifications. Your first 4 stroke engine top end maint will pay for everything.

I’ve had just about every year of crf450R. Only ones I haven’t had was the early 02-04 models. The 2012 is still the best crf I’ve ever ridden, although I had a 2016 Crf450 stock front end put on it. never ridden a nicer feeling bike. down on power a bit, but so nice to ride. Miss my old one

Ive worked with aluminium a bit, its the devil. Its light for given volume, doesnt rust (but does corrode!!), but thats where the pros end.
