Great car, but I think that the engine is not the greatest choice. I don't know why Hyundai is offering the i30 with this engine. Why aren't they doing the same as Kia with their ceed? The 1.0t engine should be a lot more fuel efficient and nippy than this engine. Also the car should be more lighter, thus regarding in better handling and fuel economy. Great video btw!

A normal aspirated engine it's more reliable ....

The 1.4 engine have a great reputation for longevity and they are great for lpg conversion. So i hope that this engine is the same with 10hp extra.

Maybe but the 1.5 dpi is more reliable, smoother, silent and "carbon deposits free" because of the port injection.

for calm driving this engine is more than enough. 2 friends from work have i30 with 1.4 normaly aspirated engine and both are ticking no problem with over 200k km.

@ I agree with that. But it would be good to offer turbo engine.
