I'm an owner of a 2020 CVO Limited purchased right around the corner from this video as a matter of fact. I have owned at this point 7 Harleys including the two in my garage right now. Over the weekend I went and sat on a Roadmaster and the first thing that I noticed was how easily it came of the side stand. This immediately told me two things one that the bike is much better balanced and two that the bike has the potential to handle incredibly well as long as the suspension is setup properly. I didnt test ride the bike, but it certainly has me thinking. Thus, the reason that I am here.

I am also a Victory rider. I've been on one since 2012. I'm currently still riding my Vision because, much like you, every bike I've been on make me feel cramped. I'm 6'4" with a 36" inseam and about 235 lbs. My Vision offers more leg room than anything else I've ever found. I'm not looking at the Indian Pursuit and the Indian Roadmaster Limited. I'm torn between the 2...FML. I like the fixed fairing and liquid cooled Pursuit, ..... but I'm also a big fan of the RM 116 sound and feel, as well as the heated and cooled seat which to my understanding is not an option on the Challenger / Pursuit. Do you have any thoughts about which you felt offered better wind and rain protection?
@Ridingfish
@Ridingfish Жыл бұрын
The Pursuit is a much bigger feeling bike as you will feel more cramped on the RM then the Pursuit.. you can buy the heated and cooled seat for the pursuit also if you wanted.. i did not love that seat if you are going to do 700 ish miles days.. 500 miles did not seem too bad tho!!!

I just purchased the Black Crystal Azure Roadmaster Limited from Bison Thunder. I noticed in your videos that you two had some minor issues with one of the bikes. I decided not to do any motor upgrades this time around. Do you recall what the issues were so I can be on the look out for them? BTW traded my 18 Roadmaster and 20 Chieftain Ltd for this one. Thanks for your great review on the RM limited. Its helped me decide on pulling the trigger. My wife and I came close to buying one in 2015 when they first hit the market. It was the heat off the cat that turned me off and prevented the purchase. No one knew that deleting the cat made a big difference yet. We still ride our C109RT. I’ve been following Indian thru the years and the 2021 limited has all the changes I was hoping for. We visited our local dealer yesterday to get a closer look. The only thing that prevented me from pulling the trigger was the color. I had it in my head I wanted the crimson. They only had the crimson and I loved it, but they showed me a Scout that had the black with blue flake. It really popped. So I left a small deposit for them to have a black one brought down for me to look at from a sister store. You’ve seen them both in the sun. The black and blue flake doesn’t show up well in videos. Just wondering what color was your favorite? Thanks again for all your hard work with Filming and editing your videos. Keep up the great work! Hope Indian gives you some good perks! I’ll bet you’ve help others on the decision making with this series.

I came from an ultra classic to the challenger. Having a trunk is convenient, but I’ve found I can pack more with a sissy bar bag, a back seat bag, and strapping stuff to them. The lowers are a game changer when it’s cold though. Here lately on the challenger I can definitely tell my lower legs get chilly, as chilly as Houston can get. Great video as always bud.
@Ridingfish

When I get colder on the Challenger I find myself putting my feet of rear begs.. do you feel like you have more leg space on the Challenger?? I think it was that I could leave my stuff in the trunk.. then the amount of stuff.. PS HOUSTON GETS SO COLD I FEEL FOR YOU!! 😄🤣

@@Ridingfish I’m 6’2” and I feel like the challenger was built for me. My Legs don’t go over the tank like they did on the Harley. I can stretch out and put my legs near the shifter and rear brake peg. I did add highway bars and haven’t felt the need to add my highway pegs cause I just rest my feet on the bar. I’ll be coming from my Victory Magnum and buying the Roadmaster; too much gained over the Chieftain/Challenger. I can attest to the feeling of being cramped, but at 5’9 I got over it quick on the test ride. The Magnum was ahead of its time and a blast to ride; but I enjoy the Roadmaster more. Throw in all the extras you get standard with the Roadmaster over the Challenger/Chieftain; even with that powerhouse Challenger engine it’s an easy pick for me, will just have to get the 116 Stage II upgrade.
@Ridingfish

Yes for a few bucks more and getting even the truck it really does pay!... Indian needs to do some tour package and get trucks on the Challenger for less than the added 4k... Was really set to get the Challenger , But I'm over 40 and comfort and handling are number one now, I think the same guy on the side stand comment said, the Challenger had better performance, it should, but he like the way the RM handled, yes very appealing, and maybe just get a smaller second bike, Thank you for your feed back.
