I have a 2018 f-type 3.0L V6. I have the Quicksilver Sport exhaust system upgrade and it sounds insanely good. I also have a 500bhp tune on it with a few more mods and more mods on the way. I reckon it’s 0-100kph is 4-4.1 seconds...it’s pretty fast to be fair

The first version had a manual transmission option. This doesn't. Porsche and Aston Martin still offer a manual transmission versions.

First time I ever saw the F Type Coupe was in Wales when a certain Mr Catchpole was on same Petrolhead tour with us. Sadly my 3.2 Carrera only kept up for one corner as he sped off into the distance. Fell in love with the shape and now have a 3ltr Convertible. I'm glad they haven't changed the shape too much!

Good review, I’ve been waiting for someone to do the RWD P450. Harry M did the AWD 450 recently. This is probably the most fun-to-drive F-type that we can buy today.

Henry liked the muted exhaust but Harry thought it was too quiet.I test drove one the other day (too quiet for me with exhaust valve open) but didn’t put the settings into sport or race so maybe I need to try it again.

There’s nothing new to say regarding the first class cinematography of Henry’s videos, nor the way his technical knowledge and passion for what he’s trying to convey makes it all so thoroughly engaging but, if one thing sets Carfection apart (ok, there are several), the history relating to a brand or individual car and the fascinating facts and figures that tell a real story is one. Ok two. Oh who am i kidding... then there’s the honest perspectives and comparisons to not only the competition but to the car’s own predecessor. The drivers or circuits connected to the story.. I may be getting carried away now. One final nod, to this review in particular... hat’s off to the cameraman and editor for sneakily keeping the box of Milk Tray on the passenger seat juuust out of view at all times! (If you know, you know) 😁

I'd take an Alpine A110 over this any day, it weighs 632 Kg less. Sure it doesn't look or sound as nice, but it's a much more engaging driving experience and you can explore it's limit without breaking as many laws.

Love this car. If I'd had the opportunity, I would choose the P450 over the R or more power version for sure. Classy, more than enough power.... This car is brilliant, and it's has more personality than other rivals like the R8.

Jaguar designers are really some of the best, since the XF (first gen) they haven't made a bad looking car at all. The XF Sportbreak is proberly one of the best looking if not best looking estate around.The F type is utterly stunning.

Way out of my price range but probably the best looking car currently being made. The pre-face-lift car was even better looking. The roadster is very nice and lovely to have on a sunny day but, like the MGB/MGB GT, the coupe is perfect. It's quite colour sensitive, I feel, with black or white being non-descript and red or British Racing Green wonderful. Silver's OK-ish.

I like Henry and the Jaguar F-Type generally, however I'm a bit saddened by the passing of the 6 cylinder. I understand why Jaguar have ditched V6's for their inline 6 ingeniums, which I'm guessing don't fit the F-Type. But it gave you the choice of having a Jaguar muscle car feel with the V8 or a more agile, typically British sports car with the raspy V6. I'd be tempted to get a mint V6S instead, probably a future classic.

I think this is a great car. I nearly bought a slightly used F Type R. Why used? They do devalue quickly. I love Jags and have had a few of the ‘R’ models and they are good but I ended up going for a Porsche which I love.

Beautiful car, nice they have kept the basic style, for me the old headlights were just wrong, after the first update they are much better, more in keeping with the front end shape, always thought a little overpriced compared to the competition, sales figures are low in comparison.
