2021 Kia Telluride SX Quick Review

We bought the black on black Nightfall Edition a month ago! My wife and I love this SUV our first! The Attention we get is crazy every time we go somewhere there’s someone asking us about the car and saying how beautiful it is! I’ve had Audis and BMWs and currently own an Audi and never got this kind of response or attention in them like the Telluride!

Put a down payment on an EX Nightfall premium in wolf grey. 2 week ago. Called the dealer today and we are upgrading to the SX Nightfall prestige package. 6-8 month wait. STOKED!

Good call. I have a 2020 Prestige. The differences over EX/SX make a difference. I never thought HUD would be a big deal. Now probably will never buy another car without it until it’s replaced with AR/VR.

The telluride has more 2nd and third row space on their own as well as together than both the pilot and the highlander. The way you present the 3rd row space is misleading when you compare it to those two vehicles. I should know, I have both a telluride and a highlander.

One of the better reviews just you speak really fast😂 I trying to decide between this and the Palisade. I like the sleek ruggedness of the Telluride and the beauty of the interior of the Palisades. You can not beat the cost!

That was a great review. I currently have one on order here in SO CAL. Glacial white pearl/ Black Nappa Leather seat trim , SX nightfall edition, SX prestige package, Towing package. Also got every option offered except= wheel locks, mud guard kit, cross bars. This build originally started in December 2019, got cancelled because of covid-19 for the 2020 model. New build submitted for the 2021 model August 2020 with a completed due date of November 2020. I was glad I'm getting the 2021 model instead of the 2020 model. Because of the added remote start on the key fob to the nightfall addition package on the 2021 model all nice additions. The only thing is I prefer the 2020 style wheels to the nightfall edition style wheels for the 2021 edition. Cant wait to pick this baby up!!!!!

NOTE: Do not move the side mirrors back and forth with your hand( it will damage the motor ) per owners manual. always use the power switch to do that. My vehicle finally arrived last week and it looks sharp!!!!

I ordered mine and should arrive next weekend, super excited. Haven't gotten a final price but they're asking $60k. Is that the ballpark you paid?

@@DaFreak559Yea that sounds about right. Mine came in at about $ 51,820.00 but when you add in the tax and license and fees it climbs to about 60k mine was a few hundred under 60k. Hope that helps. @@DaFreak559 I did and that is how I came under the 60k, but they know if you pass on the vehicle they can sell it for more!! I put a lot down on it and I think that is why they negotiated with me. Also the SX-P model is known as the UNICORN of the TELLURIDES they just don't make a lot of that model and most of the time it is a customer who builds it that way, they don't normally come from the factory like that.

Too bad I had to buy mine in San Antonio. Austin had a substantial markup. I could not pay for what they were asking for in Austin. And I live near 183N.

Only thing I don't like is the SX comes with captain seat only and if I go for the Ex with i seat then I lose out on the surround camera 📷 which is ridiculous.

That's my biggest issue with this vehicle as well as the Sorrento... As soon as you go for the higher model, you loose the 2nd row bench seat which is what I want... I want to be able to fit 3 people in the back row... They should at least give you an option....

@@robinkershen1054 i agree some of us just want to always take 3 at a given time and have the boot space with the option to have the spare seats. And only the SX model will give you the surround view. That maybe the only reason I might go xc90 or the new pathfinder.

Justin what is your opinion on 21 Telluride S or EX vs Pilot EX-L or SE. I am a hair from pulling the trigger on a Pilot SE. I can get out the door for $38k in Virginia. We love the look of the Telluride and are blown out of the water by the reviews and ratings! The Telluride is blowing the competition out of the water but we are attracted to the Pilot due to it's reputation and Honda's reputation. Would love your opinion or anyone else that has experience.

SWP was retired on this vehicle for 2021. So this is Glacier which is a cooler than Snow White which was warmer.

I’m a 2020 Kia Telluride owner. They added full screen Android Auto with the mid-2020 UVO update so any 2021 should have it. Apple CarPlay always supported full screen.

Kia Sorento only for Europe for now. Kia Telluride is available in USA, Canada and UAE only. Even South Korea doesn’t get this vehicle. 😂
