Regarding KIA long term regarding KIA reliability I have had three KIA,s (1) 2011 Sorento , 75,000 miles, no problems (2013 Optima Hybrid 64,000 miles, no problems) Presently driving a 2014 KIA soul, just turned 64,000 miles, have replaced (1) battery and one set of tires, It has had two trips from Yuma AZ to New Jersey, approx. 7000 miles each. Great Long distance car, Still running strong. I'm sold on KIA.

Great review. I’ve had my SX AWD Telluride since Halloween and I am very happy with it. I do not use the auto open feature on the back hatch because it will try to open when I am walking behind it and my garage door is closed. It has been cold lately so I need to close the garage door to take my daughters inside if they are asleep. I traded in a 2019 Volvo XC60 for a Telluride. Still love the Volvo but I needed more space and this is easier to move around in than the XC90 with a more useable 3rd row at a lot lower price. Of course, the quality of the materials are not the same as Volvo’s but it is still a great buy because of all the features the Telluride comes with. Not that it matters but I have received more compliments on the Telluride than I did on the Volvo. People cannot believe it is a Kia. I have had retail store employees walk past it at store pick up spots because they are looking for a Kia. I had to ask them who they were looking for. 😂 Some friends did wonder why I downgraded but once they see it they understand. I will never put on the “other” Kia badges on. Not judging people who do but I don’t get that. I drive a lot and I only get about 360 miles per fill up where I would get closer to 410 with the Volvo. They both have similar mpg. It feels odd to only pay $28 to fill up because it only needs 87 but I would prefer to pay a little more and gas up a little less often. I am averaging 20.8 mpg. But overall, all of the extra cargo space is worth it.

The current model Mustang GT got me, I bought one and it’s been awesome. It is truly enjoyable to drive. After reading about the engineering, features, and loving how it looks, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Yes, it’s not practical, but I am still happy with it.

First year production? I lived it in 2021 when I placed an order for a Ford Maverick. Ordered in November, received in April 2022. This is the Ecoboost XL. The thing gets GREAT gas mileage as a gas engine. Typically doing 26-28mpg city and 30-33 highway. Love my Maverick, but should have ordered the 4K tow package because I now tow a small cargo trailer. I feel like I'm pushing the 2000lb weight limit with my trailer that weighs about 1500lbs all-in, but the truck pulls like it's not even there. Going to pay it off and make some considerations for future vehicles. The Telluride is on my radar. Do good things, Kia. When you reach the point where you can out-build the Japanese giants, you'll know you've truly made it as a company. DON'T BE MITSUBISHI.

Grass is usually greener on the other after you start looking closer...life is full of would of, could of, and should ofs; it's how we operate. I learned never to buy a base trim Subaru (WRX)...any model. And this should apply to most other makes and models too...

@@luperon...feature set. At time of purchase, I did not want certain colors (blk, wht, sil, gry), or a 15yo engine design (EJ25 in the STi) and I didn't want a sunroof. Only trim that met my needs/wants, was a red base wrx. [the series.white would have been perfect if it wasn't white]. After having the car for 16 months, I've learned premium and limited trims of the WRX make the short comings of the car more tolerable/easier to deal with. ALL WRX suffer from the same deficiencies/flaws and the upper trims (incl the Series.color cars) smooth out some (not all) of the "rough" spots. My base has been flawless in operation, but there are certain features present in the other trims that would have been nice to haves; not necessary, but nice...

@@davidsantos1576...Great question. EJ20 & EJ25 are different animals. Depends on your thinking/mindset. Personally, I didn't want an engine that was roughly unchanged since 2004. There are other reasons why I didn't choose an STi, despite it being the superior car. The "look at me" rear wing is one. It's bad enough I get stepped up to by mustangs and camaros on my daily commute in a plain-Jane, fishbowl, wrx; I could only imagine what it would be like in the STi. Somehow others think it is an invitation to show off. Within a month with my wrx, twerps in "daddy's" type-r asked me if my car was fast while getting coffee at the local Starbucks... Superior or not, I did not want an STi, but in hindsight, maybe I should have. Or possibly a G70 sport 6m.

if someone is going to be around the rear of the vehicle for sometime with the key fob on them just open the vehicle and it will cancel the auto tail gate without going into the settings to turn it off.. the Sedona's has one button to kill all power doors and lift gate not sure if the Telluride has it.

I have a 2020, but had to get the second highest model, the EX. The top model wasn’t in stock anywhere. I have one major intermittent problem, though. At times, on start-up, the dash lights up with alerts that none of my safety guidance systems are working. Upon a restart, it’s okay, but sometimes it takes two or three restarts. Very annoying, but it’s very intermittent. Also, because I’m so stupid, I can’t figure out how to set it up so the dome lights come on when I open the door, and if I put a destination into the GPS, I can only pause the route. Where the hell is the cancel route function? One more thing: I’m an old fart (64), and have a long history of minor panic attacks. Nothing serious, but one of the times I would kind of freeze up and sense one coming on is when passing an 18-wheeler on the highway. Well, it’s exactly a year since I got the Telluride, and not one single instance of this. It’s just an effin’ pleasure to drive.
