Great review. I’ve had my SX AWD Telluride since Halloween and I am very happy with it. I do not use the auto open feature on the back hatch because it will try to open when I am walking behind it and my garage door is closed. It has been cold lately so I need to close the garage door to take my daughters inside if they are asleep. I traded in a 2019 Volvo XC60 for a Telluride. Still love the Volvo but I needed more space and this is easier to move around in than the XC90 with a more useable 3rd row at a lot lower price. Of course, the quality of the materials are not the same as Volvo’s but it is still a great buy because of all the features the Telluride comes with. Not that it matters but I have received more compliments on the Telluride than I did on the Volvo. People cannot believe it is a Kia. I have had retail store employees walk past it at store pick up spots because they are looking for a Kia. I had to ask them who they were looking for. 😂 Some friends did wonder why I downgraded but once they see it they understand. I will never put on the “other” Kia badges on. Not judging people who do but I don’t get that. I drive a lot and I only get about 360 miles per fill up where I would get closer to 410 with the Volvo. They both have similar mpg. It feels odd to only pay $28 to fill up because it only needs 87 but I would prefer to pay a little more and gas up a little less often. I am averaging 20.8 mpg. But overall, all of the extra cargo space is worth it.

ALL WRX suffer from the same deficiencies/flaws and the upper trims (incl the Series.color cars) smooth out some (not all) of the "rough" spots. It's bad enough I get stepped up to by mustangs and camaros on my daily commute in a plain-Jane, fishbowl, wrx; I could only imagine what it would be like in the STi. Somehow others think it is an invitation to show off. Within a month with my wrx, twerps in "daddy's" type-r asked me if my car was fast while getting coffee at the local Starbucks... I have a 2020, but had to get the second highest model, the EX. The top model wasn’t in stock anywhere. I have one major intermittent problem, though. At times, on start-up, the dash lights up with alerts that none of my safety guidance systems are working. Upon a restart, it’s okay, but sometimes it takes two or three restarts. Very annoying, but it’s very intermittent. Also, because I’m so stupid, I can’t figure out how to set it up so the dome lights come on when I open the door, and if I put a destination into the GPS, I can only pause the route. Where the hell is the cancel route function? One more thing: I’m an old fart (64), and have a long history of minor panic attacks. Nothing serious, but one of the times I would kind of freeze up and sense one coming on is when passing an 18-wheeler on the highway. Well, it’s exactly a year since I got the Telluride, and not one single instance of this. It’s just an effin’ pleasure to drive.

The thing gets GREAT gas mileage as a gas engine. Typically doing 26-28mpg city and 30-33 highway. Love my Maverick, but should have ordered the 4K tow package because I now tow a small cargo trailer. I feel like I'm pushing the 2000lb weight limit with my trailer that weighs about 1500lbs all-in, but the truck pulls like it's not even there. looking to buy a 2020 telluride with 36k miles on it. I had to look for vehicles that have already taken the hit in depreciation because the value of new vehicles in 2024 is ridiculously expensive. Do you still have and are you still happy with your 2020 telluride? Any issues with it so far?
@LouieC6 ай бұрын
@@timothylynch1065 I actually do still have it. Zero issues so far. I'll be buying a brand new one soon.

Thanks for the review. Telluride on my list since I cannot find a Model Y around. Note: why are people so upset he waters his plants when he comes home and his keys are in his pocket? Haha. THAT is your complaint about the video and the car? Kia must be onto something.

I am approaching 1 year on my AWD KIA stinger and not even a hiccup.KIA has made drastic improvements in there cars.Plus they all have 10 year warranties.Only thing wrong was my digital numeric gas gauge a few times would not reset after a fill--it would always correct itself but sometimes a day or 2 would go by.

A beautiful blue Stinger with big red Brembo brakes attracted my attention at a red light one day. When it took off on the green light, I sped up in my 2008 RAV4 because I had to know what that sexy car was...now I have a Telly. LOL

Are those normal 60,000/100,000 standard warranties that come with the vehicle purchase? Thanks!

Damn that’s a nice looking ride. It’s been getting a ton of top reviews. Looking to trade in our Santa Fe sport. This may be a good option. Thanks for the review.

This is the first SUV that I've bought that I have no buyer's remorse whatsoever. Not only does it look good but for the money, no other SUV comes close. The model previewed was closer to the top model. We got ours for $37k. They are(or were) in extreme demand so it took us about 2mos of waiting for the model we wanted.
@Ira888813 жыл бұрын
The model previewed WAS the top model.

For the people that own a Telluride. Does it has outside noise cancellation? Can you hear the outside when you’re driving?

Whenever I see things automatically open and close I see failure in the future, all this little gimmicks are lazy marketing trends, don't buy into them, manual things are easier on the pockets, I'm glad they have the manual drop seats, hearing the story of the tailgate opening up into a bike rack would make me cry, its just like another vehicle hitting your exterior, damage will be similar,

You must not have kids… automatic features like that are great to have.

if someone is going to be around the rear of the vehicle for sometime with the key fob on them just open the vehicle and it will cancel the auto tail gate without going into the settings to turn it off.. the Sedona's has one button to kill all power doors and lift gate not sure if the Telluride has it.

The Telluride SX is still really difficult to get. The used market value will remain higher for a while.

The few SUV coupes that pulled it off well are the Atlas Cross Sport, the Q8, & the Evoque/ Velar with their shapes & designs

I love my 2021 Telluride until I had a warning light come on regarding my Frontend Collision Avoidance (FAC) system. Took it in more than 5 weeks ago and still don't have it. Anyone have similar problem? Also concerned that KIA isn't offering any trailer hitch option on Tellurides starting in 2023. Any insights to this?

I've got a strong feeling that Kia and Hyundai will drop the 3.3L twin turbo V-6 in the Telluride and Palisade. How does Kia Telluride SX turbo sound?!🤔 If you look at the rear exhaust of both of these SUV'S it looks like they are planning on adding two more exhaust tips to the left side, humm.....🤔

Dude, when I drive my Telly and the engine stops at a red light, you wouldn't know it stopped or it is still running. It's so quiet, has acoustic glass, tranny and engine are so smooth, you go over bumps you won't feel it. Feels like you're floating on the road inside a bubble. It's at a differnt level

I don't really associate a year with "reliability". Seems more like a review of usability during the first year. At 12:38 he says its "amazing" it's had no issues in that year? Did he expect to have issues in that first year? That feels like pretty low expectations.

I drive a ‘20 EX AWD and not only have I had cracked windshield, plastic window pillar separating, and recently a rock took out about a softball size piece of my (plastic grille) and is on backorder for at least a month. I love my Telly but please for the next coming models design better trim, grille, and windshield.
