Maserati has been known to make some memorable grand tourers, but they've also been known as of late to make some underwhelming cars. Now we have the all new Ghibli Trofeo which is powered by a Ferrari derived V8, turning this sedan into a performance car, while still appearing to be classy and reserved. Has Maserati returned to their former glory? Let's find out!

Just wait when the Grecale comes out, I bet Maserati will get more consumers since it’s a compact suv. Luckily it’s on a new platform that will share some design cues with the MC20, eventually other models will be redesigned but I have high hopes that Maserati will be more successful.

Love the double standard. To say that Maserati is not on par with its German counterparts. Maserati puts a killer FERRARI V6 bi turbo and it’s ‘only a V6’. The Germans have V6 and it’s ok I guess?

I guess you forgot to add the most important part in this video - The sound of Corsa mode while parked and while driving. People pay money to buy Maserati at times just because of those Ferrari engine and how it sounds :)

The Trident on the front grill looks like cheapo plastic.

but it's not. actually, that's a radar with some sensors. this because in europe it's becoming mandatory to have a certain standard of driving help and security. in the 2017 model for example, the trident used to be 3D, and not inside a shield
