We take ours down the day before Christmas break is over. Usually it’s the 2nd or 3rd of January. We keep all the gifts under the tree until then too. The kids get to enjoy their new stuff and the decor their whole Christmas break, but then we start the morning of back to school with a house that looks huge and super clean. It makes it kind of exciting to get back in a routine. I always watch while I clean myself. :) It’s like cleaning with a friend!

They went up on 11/8 since I had rotator cuff repair surgery on the 11th., so we were ready to undeck the halls. 😄 Once everything was down we decorated our entire livingroom, dining room and guest bath for ❤️Valentine's Day❤️!!

Centuries ago, the Christmas celebration used to be held on the 6th of January. The popular day of 25th December was not Christmas day before the Gregorian Calender was adopted. This was because the old calendar that people used at the time had a different number of days compared to the Gregorian calendar we use at present. So Christmas was celebrated on the date equivalent to January 6th.

Ok so it took me like 3 video to get moving.. but I watched one while I was late night cleaning after working all day. I stress over my house alot lately and I dont know why. I am a nanny and keep all my work house clean but man when it comes to mine I struggle. My kitchen needed cleaned and I have a long list this week. So I took an hour after work at midnight and cleaned. Listend to you and the great music. Now I can go to bed. I have 2 cats both are normal cats under your feet until the vacuum comes out then they are gone. Im from Indiana mom of one girl age 5(princess) and nanny 2 boys.. 2020 was a hard year but hopefully I can get a hang of things and do better in 2021(not yet but getting there)..

We didn’t put Christmas up this year because we had a bad season last year and I just wanted a break (we don’t have kids). Turns out it was a good thing because I’m pretty much confined to the couch and I have surgery on my back on Thursday.
