I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen Passat and could not be happier. I will get right to the point. It is a sport sedan with a wonderful European feel of an Audi A6. Granted the engine is not the same, but it has a refined feel when driving. A feeling of quality with good pickup, smooth and quiet ride. The seats are very comfortable, firm but not hard and they don't hug your thighs like some other cars. You won't be as fatigued driving for several hours vs other cars. You feel like your driving a refined car with great leg room in the front and back and it comes with a huge trunk so you won't miss your SUV. Even the basic audio system is great. I had 3 smaller SUV's from Jeep to Ford Escape, and when I drove a new Japanese SUV which was very nice but with weak acceleration again to get better fuel economy, I decided I wanted to drive a fun car, yes a car again. Lets be honest, how often do you drive in the snow and need an SUV. If the weather is that bad, you just stay home. For daily driving, you want a fun car, a refined car and one that makes you feel good on winding roads, and this car is it. Yes Honda and Toyota makes great cars but they don't provide the sport sedan feel that the Passat give you. With the little extra torque of the 2020, new sheet metal, and updated interior, this is an awesome car that is a pleasure to drive every single time. The changing lane, front, back and side warning system is great. Thankfully you can control the distance of the front warning system to your taste. Its cool that with having cruise control on, the car will slow down automatically if a car in front of you gets too close. It speeds up again if the car in front starts to move faster. The dash looks great by the way with simple controls on the display with the digital middle section that you can go through the different menus. The Android Play works great too by the way. I highly recommend it.

Excellent review Alaatin. Love this car, I was wondering how the car would cope with the 1.5 engine, including the fuel economy. I have sat in this car and the seats are hug you in all the right places. Hv you reviewed the 2020 VW Tiguan R Line....

They're not a luxury car lol. All in all the Mk7s feel cheaper than any other VW from the past 25 years and have really cheap, thin plastics that constantly rattle. I'm very dissapointed with my Mk7 Jetta SE after 15k miles and will, be trading out of it soon. Sad when Hyundai & Kia have higher quality build materials and cost 30% less.

@@soawn29 nah man, anything past Mk7 on the MQB platform is all just shared parts bin cars. This Passat had like 70% of the same parts used as in my Jetta, as my Jetta had from my Audi S3. VW group is struggling hard after dieselgate and it's really showing. Made in Mexico or Made in Europe they're all using the same cheap ass materials and cutting costs left & right.

Please advise if the 150 BHP has an all wheel drive (AWD) feature. Also, please advise if there is an extra spare wheel in the back. Also, highlight the Audio System capabilities. Is the gear a DSG system or Turbo, please advise, does it have Manual Gear, version as well or not. Many Thanks & Regards for the comprehensive and thorough review.

Not sure what you mean by ''DSG system or Turbo'' I have an older Passat, but it has DSG and 2.0 TDI Turbo, so not an ''or'' thing in my case. Maybe I did not understand your question.

I really don't understand how VW can claim that these sunroofs are panoramic. They're like normal size lol. I mean, maybe slightly larger than a cheaper brand ( Hyundai & Kia do full panoramic sunroofs tho ) but by no means is truly panoramic. My Mk7 Jetta's " panoramic " roof barely reaches the 2nd row, let alone to the back seats. They make the illusion of them being larger from the outside with the glass veneer above the windshield, but all in all it's very disappointing. VW doesn't need to lie as much as they do.
