For some explanation, when Tom Smallwood missed way right in the ninth frame in game two, he made a post where he stated that the ball landed on the lane on his thumb hole and just shot right. That is just really unlucky!

Thank you for posting. I was really happy for Kyle Troup. He seems like a genuinely good dude and is clearly at the top of his game. Water bottle gate is definitely one of the highlights. Clearly not done on purpose but you can see that it clearly affected the match. Smallwood has a right to be upset.

Clearly unintentional. He spilled it on and toward himself! Smalls was already on the approach. Why risk self-sabotage at that point?

They did multiple replays on the spill and determined clearly it was an accident. There was no intent in launching a water bottle three feet from the side table down to the approach. It would be a different story if it was done while Tom was making his approach for the shot. Luckily it was just before Tom started to take his steps in the approach. Even Tom himself said that accidents happen and Dick has always been straight up and was extremely apologetic.

I was sorry to see Allen go any further after the Fiasco with the water bottle should have been some kind of penalty I don't know what it would be but you take somebody who's in the zone and take him away from the lanes for 15-20 minutes whatever it was that was total BS
