I'm more than thrilled and appreciative that the PWBA is active, but in this day and age, I think it's inexcusable for the exclusive source for a professional sport that also puts up a paywall to be limited to 720p video quality.

IMO, I think it's a personal choice and not a wrong choice. I'm going to a list of pros and cons but create a style you are comfortable with.

I hate when they said "the ball came behind the headpin." The ball never comes behind the headpin, it is physically impossible. What is actually happening is the ball is deflecting off the headpin.

We are bowling league. No one wears a mask. I really don't see the point of these women wearing a mask to compete, especially since the masks do absolutely nothing against the China virus.

i paid for access so i could watch qualifying and match play and I thought they had mentioned that the finals would not be included in the bowltv access ...

Over the years, I've watched coverage on ABC, ESPN and a couple others. And I go back to Fred Wolf and Chris Schenkel. This program is by far the most amateur I've ever seen. If the PWBA can't secure a contract with a major TV network, it really ought to do a better sales job for itself.

I agree that this coverage is poor, but then so is national television where the production values favor superficial commentary. This is because on national tv they want a broad spectrum of views most of whom know nothing about bowling. On BowlTV, however, the viewers I think are largely bowlers. As one myself I want more than bland entertainment. The announcers should be able to explain what is really taking place on the lanes, cover ball selection and lane strategy, for example. This crew they have is utterly bland, boring, and manage to make the event have little interest.

The content is great, I mean really enjoyable. I just can't fathom the decision to use 720p in 2021. 1080p should be bare minimum. This looks like absolute garbage on a 4K television. USBC? Baffling. If you're doing this to "encourage" people to pay for BowlTV, then just don't bother uploading it to YT at all. This blurry rubbish just makes you look like hacks.

DijiGo - We agree with your assessment of the quality. Technically, it is possible for us to increase the quality level but it involves an additional step in our post-production workflow that would significantly delay us posting the content. We are working on a faster way to deliver higher-quality copies of the broadcasts in the future. Thanks for pointing it out and we hope you continue to enjoy our coverage.

@@USBC Thank you for the reply. I really hope you can do something about it soon. The technical people at your end must know this, but the processing power, storage and throughput capabilities of modern computers, digital imaging hardware etc. is orders of magnitude greater than what we had just a few years ago. Someone over there needs to spend some money, and fast, because this is NOT a good look, setting a pretty low expectation for the remainder of the year. This is coming from a huge bowling fan, and I rarely bother to post in YT comments. It's just so disappointing. I'll leave it at that, and yes I'll continue to watch. Regards.

And Danielle needs a sports psychologist this is so consistent how she starts with strikes then gets nervous and misses like crazy, proceeds to lose then In 10th pack shots like nothing ... everytime she’s in finals she would win so god damn many titles if the middle of the game was taking better care of
