For rookies, sit level, and when you're truck starts to roll 1 to 2 mph and use the trailer break only to see if it stops gently. If it stops fast, back it off, if it doesn't stop, increase gain until it does stop gently and you'll be just fine. Every trailer is different and just because his gain is okay at 4.5 yours may be 4 or 7, you don't know until you try. Also as breaks ware out you'll have to increase gain so check it often.

Are you going to factory "tune it"

Have you been able to tell much of a difference in power with the 2021 HO Cummins over the 19-20?
@pddieselpower3 жыл бұрын
I believe 21 has just a tad bit more low end. Just tuned differently for sure.

Paul, how are those limited seats holding up compared to the 2019 ones? I know my 2019 Limited and my 2020 Laramie, the driver’s seat both bubbled up and stretched out. Warranty replaced the cushion on the 2019. My 2020 Laramie driver’s seat the springs actually squeak when you sit down or drive over rough roads/bumps. Very annoying.
@fivesfilms3 жыл бұрын
Do you actually notice a power difference when towing a load with the HO compared to the 68rfe? I never towed with an Aisin, but am wondering. I think the 68rfe with regards to towing is a bit sluggish.
@pddieselpower3 жыл бұрын
Brother I have not towed with. 68rfe 5th Gen. I wouldn't be able to say.
@TimGtmf3 жыл бұрын
Yes!! You definitely can feel the difference between 2500 Cummins crew cab compare to 3500 HO Cummins crew cab. I feel like the 3500 HO Cummins is louder then 2500, Boost feels longer and more violent, it’s obviously faster!

You know the bed cover they make for pickups and they call em tauno covers? I think they should change the name to Tonto cover as in the Lone Ranger 's sidekick. He was his faithful assistant,...and he always covered his rear end, lol.

Oil cheaper than a payment on the new truck. Do Oil analysis, best way to tell when to change oil.

4 chains (one at each corner) and a strap or chain on each end ( one on the front bucket and one on the hoe) are required on a rubber wheeled non articulated equipment. If it is articulated and does not have the locking bar installed then you will need 4 more chains.

A backhoe weight is around 25000lbs depending on the size manufactured
@fauricebingham65043 жыл бұрын
Nah that weight 14-16k max its a small John deer.. cat 420 weighs 19.5k an that’s the biggest backhoe made on the market that I kno of

7k running gear on trailer. 3000lb trailer. 14000-3000=11000lb available payload. 310 backhoe with cab and fluids 14000lb's overloaded by 3000lbs. Numbers don't lie. Just cause you can don't mean you should.
@pddieselpower3 жыл бұрын
I'll try to help you understand how I was setup. Trailer is modified to handle 16k legally. My truck is setup to handle 7500 on the drives legally. So trailer 5k plus 14k tractor is 19k. 20 percent goes to the truck. =3800. So equals to trailer being at 15,200. Drives 7400. I'm pushing it but perfectly legal 😁
@lukeshurtleff97703 жыл бұрын
@@pddieselpower and there is the tire rating. If you have 14 ply g rated tires at 4080 lbs load capacity you'd be good but again it is very close. If they're 10 or 12 plys then you're probably overloaded on the tires.
@alanack673 жыл бұрын
310s are closer to 12k, they arent very big.
