Yea this was a specialized dealer group ride, so we were all on demo bikes. It would be hard to find a big group of guys with 10,000 dollar bikes!

Okay so I've been thinking about saving up for a new bike, cause at the moment I'm riding a 2005 Gary Fisher Wahoo, and was wondering if a stumpy would be a good bike because I'm looking to spend under 3 grand on something. If there are any other good bikes for someone looking to improve, let me know!

There's a ton of options under 3 grand. You will probably get a nicer part spec on a giant and I think (don't quote me) that there aluminum bikes are lighter than stumpys. Stumpys are amazing in Carbon but thats more than 3 grand. There are quite a "bikes under 3 grand" videos on youtube. But any bike will feel amazing considering you are on a 2005!

I have a turbo levo comp. Love it. Uphill G force on birms is awesome. Everyone needs to experience this at least once. Great video btw. Are you into teaching dh or tech? I'm thinking you would be a natural coach.
