"You're not buying these boats to sleep in them." If I spent $600K for that Grady, I'd better be able to sleep in in for two reasons: 1. I'd have to sell my house to buy it, and 2. my wife would have sent me packing before I had a chance to do that.😆

The Albury 33 by far was my favorite. I owned one for many years and all I can share is... Less is More. Timeless beauty in her simplistic design and rigging. The ride is extremely forgiving, and has the softest re-entry of any V-Bottom boat I have owned and been in. My absolute favorite of any mono hull for over all fishing and cruising in all various sea conditions. These hulls are built for a lifetime. We appreciate the review and good luck with your channel. @@jiggingjerks most people like all the bling, and never have ridden in an Albury. Give me some decent electronics, killer stereo, enough seats when needed and a few rod holders...this boat will get you there and back very comfortably. I have been a Cat guy for years, but if I ever went back to a mono hull I'd buy another Albury from Jeff Lichterman.

As I said in the vid, I’ve never ridden on an Albury BUT I have on a Stuart which basically had to change their Hull design cause it was a rip off of the Albury and it was an impressive ride. Live the open space and simplicity of the boat

Hello from NH. Great video. Like the focused, quick overviews. Own an Eastern 22 but really drawn to the Albury (and Stuart Boatworks) for their simplicity (and reported soft rides). Sounds like you have experience on both? Interested in your take on the ride.
@jiggingjerks3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I only really have experience with the Stuart. I test drove a 26 (their old model which they got sued by Albury over) and toured their factory a few years ago. Very impressive. I did a video of their 23 at this show that I didn’t publish and the pricing is pretty high. I am talking about 170 K for a 23. The ride was great for what it’s worth and they can finish it anyway you want. Their fit and finish and attention to detail is second to none. I mean, it’s literally the best fit and finish on any small boat I’ve ever been on. You pay for that though.
