Nah stock vs stock is the best race for the two cars lol. How is someone gonna say "i thought racing a stock car vs a modded car would be more accurate"? Lmao. Its Supra vs Type R. Not modded type R. One car is modified to tap into its modded potential, and one isnt. Pretty weird thing to say tbh

They are closer in power with the Type R being modified, stock for stock the Supra makes more power so we already know it’s a definite win. The Type R being modified brought more of an advantage for it to be closer in configured numbers to the Supra. At the end of the day the Supra has more power potential, that’s a fact. With a simple downpipe and tune, it’ll smoke that FBO Type R no doubt.

Supra dnt need a pure, just Dp, tune and e40-50 mix, 480-500whp all day.

@@willywankerpeeker2375 I get that but the supra will make those numbers on pump gas on the pure turbo and more on ethanol blend. Not to mention it won’t have a dying power band from mid high revs to redline but instead it will keep making power all the way through

I think the R in type R stands for repulsive. That thing is the definition of a fake car. Bunch of fake vents and wings strapped to an already ugly poorly built body. Not to mention it sounds like a weedwacker.

I appreciate your opinion brotha, but there are a few things to note. Everything that a stock Type R comes with isn’t all flash but actually functional, in example: the vents and wing. You can utilize this video to help you understand how it’s aerodynamics work: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5DOnZ6apb6anrM The Type R itself has held some high records around the track including the Nurburgring. As for sound, that’s opinionated. I believe with the correct exhaust set-up the car actually sounds great, one of the better sounding 4 cylinders in my opinion. But of course with the wrong set-up it can definitely sound like a weedwacker.
