We bought the DBF (Ford chassis) in late August to use as our HurEvac home and it met our needs, put it to the test during Hurricane Sally. No worries about where to eat, sleep or take rest breaks and "Super Pokey" was available as a back up power source for our home should we have needed to keep a frig or freezer running, or more importantly make coffee. We added the solar panel and a WineGard Connect 2.0. Lots of great light inside and out and plenty of USB ports and electrical outlets. Air conditioning worked good down in Florida, almost too well, one suggestion there would be to consider making the AC a ducted system. What you didn't mention was the amazing price, we were very happy with our purchase. Happy Holidays, Skipper and Clark

Really considering this RV now! I like your comments and will consider adding Solar and Wine guard Connect 2.0. This one seems to have truly Everything! The full kit- even has an oven, and Full bath- even 3 sets of bath hooks, and I love that it has a pantry too! And since the cab over can carry 500 lbs, I may be tempted to try it too! For the grandkids, but when they aren't there, I could try it, weighing in at about 178 lbs. Love the exterior colors, love blue, and interior too. I don't like a white interior, nor the dark interiors, but that medium brown is definitely appealing! I know u r enjoying, ..I Can't Wait! ♥️

Ian, you are Always So informative! Now, got me wanting a Thor Daybreak! It's now 2023, first time seeing this, and wondering can I drive it, I'm 71 years young? It is pretty big, but it Is a real house with all the amenities, Plus it's mobile!

Nice overview, thank you. I would like to have seen the interior with the slide closed and the dinette set to bunk mode. I am at the stage where climbing up into an over-cockpit bunk is "iffy" at best. I also like to take a nap while covering territory, "Dry bath" is very nice, even if the shower requires a bit of contortion to bit into the skylight.

It seems like a great camper, but there are three things I would definitely change. Firstly, I can't imagine why there's no way to access the AC unit in the bedroom without climbing that ladder. I plan to use it until I'm a lot older, so having to climb up to the roof to get AC in the bedroom seems ludicrous. Next I don't like leather/pleather upholstery. I much prefer some type of soft cloth. I have a dog and he's used to sleeping on soft things. Is it possible to change that? And thirdly, I also don't get why the bed up top is the one with the flat screen TV. It seems like the bedroom is where that should have been placed. I mean a queen bed is far more comfortable than the loft bed, and there's an actual bedroom there. None of those things are deal-killers, but they just seem kind of illogical. I do really like how Thor puts a lot into using higher quality materials, and the storage and cupholders are awesome. I hope to purchase one in a year or so.

Does the bed have to fold in order to bring the slide in? Or could it be left down flat? So that if you didn’t have the room to bring the slide out in a parking lot you could still use the bed?
