How does this TM 300 compare with your KX250XC Luke?
@LosSquid3 жыл бұрын
My KX250XC is way better due to being set up how I like it. The TM was good but suspension was just not right for me. Jason is going to tweak it a little bit and see what it is as a couple of other guys said the same we have a feeling that it had to much oil in front forks making it abit hard.

TM's are all fun and games, until you see how horrendously expensive parts are for them!
@LosSquid3 жыл бұрын
🤣🤣🤣 everyone keeps saying but I asked Jason and saw pricing it really isn't as bad and most keep yarning about. I think alot of thay comes from people just passing runours from the old days. For instance the front brakes pads are yz250 pads and the rear are ktm pads so that isn't really that expensive.
@1Beetlegeuse3 жыл бұрын
I looked into it very closely as my 300en T2 turns up next week. Very little proprietary stuff on it. All the consumables are the same, piston and rings are priced normally. Keihin 38 and its parts are practically universal. Air filters are $30. Everything else is aftermarket so not a lot you'd have to order genuine. Cant speak for cases, crank, rod or gearbox components however but they're not something you are going to buy very often or at all.
@LosSquid3 жыл бұрын
@@1Beetlegeuse yea man its hard to explain this sometimes to people as majority of riders just go of Chinese whispers I spoke to my mate about it and he said he's not worried parts are easy to get.
@jonathondavis1703 жыл бұрын
I own a new TM Racing EN300ES 2 stroke and prices are easily comparable to my 2020 Husqvarna TE150i & Yamaha YZ250FX - quite honestly the partsare no higher or harder to get than any other manufacturer. These bikes are my favorite, and I believe I shall either go with a new 2022 TM Racing MX450Fi twin pipe - modified for XC & 6 spd gear box, or buy a 2022 Honda CRF450RX to fill the big bore 4 stroke void...Beta 390RR race edition or new 450RX MX bike are solid contenders too. Anywho, everyone wants to come down on TMs but they are quite honestly at the top of the pack when compared to other manufacturers, but continually rated horribly due to being different and made in low numbers...

@@LosSquid Hi . Front pads are Brembo, Rear pads is same as , YZ, KXF, Beta etc (Nissin). They are great bikes.
