I ride a 19. I’ve done quite a few mods to get it where I want it in the tight stuff. It’s been my favorite so far. I also have ridden Sherco, Beta and a Husqvarna. It’s been ultra reliable and agree with what you said here. I did drop the fork spring to a 42 from stock. The 22’s are pretty awesome with lots of changes and throttle body injection on the 2 strokes! No more TPI.

Great video and congrats on the podium finish riding Ryan's TM. We hear that he put on a good show down there. The TM is a very unique bike with a distinct sound. Wish you'd've been able to ride back to back with the stock carb to better understand how the SmartCarb affects the TM's engine and power characteristics, but maybe another time. We know Ryan doesn't leave the island without his SC2.

@@frankbirger8278 power delivery is more aggressive. More appropriate for racing I do. As for the transmission, it's unclear to me whether the 6 speed MX trans is different from the 6 speed en trans. The 6 speed on the MX is a relatively new option and I don't think there's much information about that available. Unless you can read Italian and find the proper data sheets. We will see. Ultimately, I do not need the factory lighting system and the MX was about 1k cheaper even with the options I chose

I’m very happy with my 250. May sound like I’m just pumping up what I have, but it’s the fastest/most powerful 250 I’ve ever owned. I usually prefer 250’s because they’re a little softer off the bottom than a 300. I’m not so sure I couldn’t put 300 decals on this and no one would debate it.

TM's are almost 90% hand made in Italy, even the parts they dont produce in house are made in italy with the best materials and quality standards, i can tell you because the CNC company of a friend of mine worked with them. It's pretty unkown as a brand because they manufacture only like 10000 bikes a year and they don't spend much on advertising and all this bullshit, but the bikes they produce are pretty amazing and have top tier technology, you should also try the four strokes wich come ready to race out of the factory

Speaking of IRC Rich, My go to tire in the Hawaiian jungle is the M5B. You give up a little on those slippery rocks, but with that slippery clay that gets packed in the tire there's no better tire that cleans out. One thing to watch out for is the 20-21 250-300 2 strokes (no way of knowing if the 22s do it yet) have an issue on start up where they will have no power until you get a fair amount of rpms, like holding it 1/3 open with the clutch in. It can be fixed with a remap or making a switch to keep the powervalve controller on so it doesnt affect you when you stall or take a small break. But unless you fix it it is a fairly annoying issue.
