Thank you for going to the effort in making this 2T/4T 300 cc comparison for us. This is an interesting subject for me as I have been riding 2T’s for a while now and am considering going to a 4T next; I like the TM EN 300 FI.

I have the 21 mx300 2t, boy does that thing haul the mail when it gets on the pipe, fitted lighting kit to it and set it up for x country type racing in Australia. Best bike I’ve ever had.

Awesome video, its really cool too see some videos on TMs, I have a question , Would a TM 300 EN 2 Stroke be like to big for a beginner enduro rider?
@bikeguysoffroad3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words, depending on how large or small the rider is, we recommend the EN 250, it is a little easier to hang on to but has plenty of the low end torque that an Enduro rider needs to chug through the rough stuff without the hard pull of the 300

That was fun. Thanks. That track looks like a lot of fun. I have the TM EN 300 Fi and a 350 4t. The 2t 300 pulls so hard compared to the 4t. Like you said, both versions are great bikes. The 4t gets much better gas milage. The 2t feels a lot lighter. I would want the 2t for trail riding. The 4t is good for that too, and would be the choice bike if there were more straight roads (dirt or paved) connecting one to various riding areas in a day.

I keep coming back to this video. I race B250 and plan to put in an order for a TM250EN this year. But being that I race enduro and harescramble (not hard enduro), I wonder whether I would be better on a 300 4T. I really wish I could ride both back to back.

Hi Michael, I have ridden both the 250 and the 300 back to back, they both have great power, the 300 is suited more for experts and /or large riders, the 250 is easier to ride in the tight stuff, but will chug up just about anything, then when you come out into open trails it can rip! I may buy a new 250 for myself.

@@bikeguysoffroad in my racing series, we ride tight northeastern woods. Some events are all mud and sand and trees, others are all roots and rocks. I ride a YZ250X and probably will go to a TM250 but the 300 4 stroke seems equally suited. Tough decision.

@@MichaelAbramo The 300 four stroke is a great bike too! While I haven't raced in the northeast, we do ride places like Idaho, there I like the 250 two stroke!

How are the headlights on the tm bikes? They are definitely different than all the other bikes, that's for sure!

Hows that 300 4t do on rocky singletrack compared to the 300 2t?

I haven't ridden it in the enduro trails yet, but I expect it to be great there too! they both have KYB forks and great shocks that are full adjustable.
