After testing a lot of vehicles in this class, and renting a Venza for a week to be sure - I bought a 22 Venza Limited in same color as this review. I've owned a wide variety of vehicles in my 55 years of driving. I am happier with this Venza than any other vehicle I've ever purchased - even happier than the 2006 E500 Benz I owned. I'm 6 months and 6000 miles into ownership. There is not one complaint I have about it. Absolutely great comfortable vehicle with incredible tech. I highly recommend it.

I put a down payment for a Venza LE and was supposed to pick it up the next day. However, after seeing all these reviews with the star gaze panoramic roof, I'm asking the salesman to change my car to the limited Edition with the roof. Looking forward to it my roof. I picture driving in Manhattan with the roof open and enjoying the view, almost like a double decker bus. A glass top convertible. Your review explain how the whole car work. It is like the detsiled explanation when you take a car from the dealership. I agree with one of the poster above about the rear light turn signal being so low, that is ridiculous. It should be low and in the middle, in two spots. What an oversight. Excellent and very informative detailed review down to the setting of the display. Thank you very much. Whoever watches this video to the end is seriously interested in buying the car or already own the car and getting a refresher. 😊

Thank you for a thorough review. Our 2021 XLE is still in transit (from Japan??) - so I’ll be rewatching again and again so once we take delivery we’ll be “tech-perts” on all the new technology. So very excited to own this beautiful vehicle! We’ve had our 2009 Venza with 150k miles for 11 years. Still running strong. For those new to the Venza you-will-love it! 2021 is a completely new design, lots of new tech, but the 2009 we are keeping is the best car we’ve ever owned (so far 😉). Hoping to love the 2021 as well!

Car looks absolutely nice but hate the rear turn signal which is placed too low on the bumper and its too small for an indicator. Higher vehicles such as buses/18 wheelers may not be able to see the turn signal as its too low. No to mention, bumper is usually the first point of contact in a collision and that makes the blinker more susceptible, to getting damaged by a fender bender incident. Never understood this flawed design trend usually, done by the Koreans and now the Japanese.

I like Toyota vehicles so far they are very reliable vehicle this Venza design much better than previous boxy wagon design at the mean time Toyota must do update on 2022 versions 1: For the drivers who are 5'10" and over if they drive long hours or stuck in traffic will feel very uncomfortable on sitting driver seat and may feel leg pain they must add manual or power thigh support like German vehicle even now some Buick models have it 2: Touch system some times in cold weather will not respond and may confuse the driver and take off his eyes off from the vehicle , A/C Heating power on off, control buttons will have to update with semi touch system as like Buick or Cardilac with led light indication 3: Back side signal indicators they should add one more under the tail lights aswell for the vehicle safety during the day driver from other vehicle may not see and cause accident 4 : Inside the vehicle power start button is too far for driver to bend down to search to press Let's hope Toyota will update

it does look like the old Lexus RX450H from 2009-2012 with its big elephant mirrors; they seem exactly the same. BUT what this Venza lacks is the glorious V6Hybrid from the Lexus and its much more understressed and relaxing driving; its also more quiet than the Venza. Toyota really should had brought the V6Hybrid in the Venzy and the Highlander because they are heavy and some owner uses trailer !
@greasyhitchball2 жыл бұрын
Toyota looked at the sales metrics and knew the V6 hybrid would't sell. Please don't think Toyota doesn't know how to sell cars.

It is a very nice car, nice front. I wonder why we don't have it in Europe, we LOVE the 12 "screen, if we want it we have to buy a Lexus. And most of the screens in Europe have old technology. I don't know why if Toyota has this technology , it does not implement it in its cars.Until a year ago, it was not even compatible with Android auto or Apple car play, I am not telling you with Alexa.

What frosted me was the overly low turn signals. Also what no one ever mentions is hybrid batteries may need to be disconnected in the event of an accident. First responders need to be able to identify this as a hybrid and they must disconnect the hybrid battery before certain rescue efforts are made. Pretty sunroofs and cameras are one thing, but where is the disconnect?
