Missed the controls on steering wheel are now steel instead of plastic. And the steering wheel is genuine leather to hold up against the oils in our hands

FYI, I have a 2021 Model 3 SR+ and the front windows are about 5mm for the double pane while the rear windows are about 3.5mm, so it's double but thinner layers. I compared that to my 2006 Toyota Solara which is a two-door coupe with no window frame, like the Model 3, the windows are 4mm thick. Love the car and glad of the improvements especially the rear trunk lift, center console and the phone charger. Heat pump is good, time will tell if it's a good improvement. Good video.

A good video to make might be to compare your 2019 Performance Model 3 and a 2021 built RHD Performance Model 3 if you know someone in Sydney that is willing to meet you face to face so that the two cars can be side by side and also so you can drive both and see if they both feel the same and if the time of the '0km to 100km sudden acceleration test' is exactly the same or if one is faster than the other

Thanks Tom. Great video as always. Heat pump? For us in Qld a total NON issue ;-) I used the seat heaters last Winter, but never the cabin heater. Chrome delete? I actually LIKE the chrome. Looks like I’ll just have to keep our P- ;-)

I love Tesla’s but I choose not to buy one now. Instead I bought a supra GTS. I will get a EV or Tesla when the build quality has improved, charging stations have increased for road trips (in Australia) and range has increased. I’m hoping this all happens in 3 years.

The build quality of my Tesla Model 3 Performance is exceptional. I believe too much focus has been put on Tesla for this. Indeed when it is bad they should be called out on it but I believe most cars from Tesla do not have issues any more than other car companies. I’ve owned VW and Mazda cars with questionable panel gaps, paint issues and fit/finish concerns (one of our VW’s was so bad it leaked in the rain). As for charging infrastructure it’s already exceptional and only getting better every day. On top of that the latest Model 3’s have excellent range. Check plugshare to see how good the charging infrastructure has become.

Excellent review! Was going to purchase a model Y performance after 4 different test drives I couldn’t decide between the Y or the model 3 but I refuse to pay 10k for one of the main draws of the Tesla (FSD) (once you use it you have to have it) I’ve decided I’m going with the Mach E GT. Also considering the Polestar if they up the performance in 2021 But I do own Tesla stock and I love tesla cars.Tesla need to raise the price of all the cars they sell to absorb the price of that FSD or at least lower it. 10K outrageous LOl. K

@@vijgai3 Lol howdy I know what you mean I live in the the highest taxed area of the whole of the USA, New York City, so I know about expensive but if the cost is spread out amongst every one I think thats the fairest way paying a extra thousand beats paying 10 thousand I’m sure you agree. I buy things in life I can afford not every body can afford a Lamborghini or Ferrari I know I can’t and not everyone can afford a Tesla I can but even if I was rich I’d never pay 10K for that option unless I spent most of my time traveling then I might consider purchasing it, it’s that good.Ta, and G’day.mate.

@@cisco9027 According to Elon, FSD will come as a subscription option. So one can get it when going on a trip and cancel it after. No way am I spending $10k extra on FSD when the M3 is over $70,000 here in Australia. We also don't have much choice on full electric vehicles here. No government incentives either from the NSW government.

Exactly, black euros are in order. Tesla will fit in a couple of weeks after they show up - they wouldn’t register the car with them and you save something like $80 ordering with yellow instead of white. The yellow is burning my eyes too 😂
