The navigation map system is adequate but the android auto is so integrated you would be mad not to use it. You no longer need a Co driver to give you navigation. I spend hours driving friends around and they are just awestruck

Really? Lower charging possibilities than its competitors, drum brakes at the rear wheels (yes, seriously), hard plastic interior. I would definitely prefer KIA’s EV6 over any ID 4 model.

Damn YT, for some reason I don't get your vids on my list even tho I sub'd you waaaaaay long ago... Haven't seen you in at least 8 months, if not longer. Anyway. nice to see you again Steve, always a joyride to watch your reviews! In my opinion I think the EV's are way overrated for being economical and clean....specially the later, considering what it takes to manufacture the batteries and the pollution. And the range is pure garbage... 220miles/charge.... that's just lame. It's way too soon to get a EV I think, maybe another 6-7 years would increase the mileage and the battery weight. As it sits now I'm just not impressed!

@@ItsJessie915 You do have a point but the ID4 is electric so only 10% of the moving parts compared to a conventional engine. Tesla is no picnic either with many reports of poor quality manufacturing.

Does your grid go down that often? If so, then gas stations will be off line since they need grid power to run their pumps. Or if they have generator power, they will be swamped with angry drivers jockeying for position in line... and we know that can end tragically.

Did you not notice that when we had a gas shortage on the east coast that all the EV owners were not having any problems? Why? Because the grid doesn't go down often, we live in the U.S. it's not a big issue. On top of that if you have solar on your house or even if a charging station had solar it wouldn't matter if the "grid went down". You can make "fuel" without the grid. Can you refine oil in your garage? Do you have your own oil rig and refinery in your yard?

We have had gas shortages in my area this year due to pipeline hacks, hurricanes, and lack of truck drivers. Power was on though.
