Today we are taking a tour of the all NEW 2021 Wildwood Heritage Glen 378FL by Forest River. This RV has a pretty nice layout and an awesome loft that the kids will love. It has a lot of upgraded features that are normally seen on higher-end models but also a couple of other things that could have been better appointed and more though out. Toured that exact model last week at a local show. Tight narrow walkways. Cheap materials fabric coverings, furniture. Had an odor from the glues and synthetics. Seen better. But lots of niceties.

Does anybody know if the height for this RV is 13.5ft counting Ac units?

We just bought this same rig. Did you figure out why the control panel says black 1 & 2 rather than just one tank reading?

The dealer told us that the panel is a general panel that fits other models as well. Some with the option of a second black tank.

How do you like this trailer? Have you had any issues? Does the AC keep the back bedroom and loft cool? My wife and I are going to check this camper out in 2 weeks at a seasonal campground we’re trying to get in.

How does the ac and heat in the master bedroom compare to the rest of the unit ?

Hello jes137, Sorry for the slow response. The ac and heat are definitely less then the other areas but it does have to travel further. We recently bought the RV Airflow units to install that should give us more air flow atleast from the ac. We also install a metL perforated disc in the bathroom heat vent because that would blow super hard and was way to much for the bathroom and that helped with more heat flow in the bedroom.

@@Jimmy2Tech would you mind linking the disk you used in the bathroom. We have same unit and that plastic one gets so hot I'm worried about it melting, lol. Also I am very curious is to how RV airflow works with this unit. I bought a portable ac and ducted it out the back window. Works like a champ but I'd rather not have to use floor space for an ac.

@@joshkooistra Pulls pretty nice. The RV is not to heavy and is within the specs for the truck. We did upgrade the shocks and put airbags on it to level out everything a little better.

Did you guys mount the TV in the loft or is it free standing? What size did you go with?

This tv comes with the rv. It is a 50 inch and the mount makes the TV slide up off the mount easily. Which is useful, as there is a mount bracket on the outside of the camper if you wanted to watch the television outside. :)

@@flyguy320 it's just a 50 inch no brand. We are looking to upgrade to a 55 to 60 inch Samsung smart tv as it will fit in the opening in the loft. Just may be a little tight getting to the plugs and outlets to the left of the TV that you see in the video.

@@flyguy320 Sorry the previous reply I was referring to the TV in the living room. The TV in the loft is a 32 inch that we have just free standing. We have not figured out a way to mount it yet that works.

Thanks for commenting! I'll have Jimmy1 respond to your comment in a little bit since he has actively been living in the rig. Modification wise, we've added slider toppers over the slide outs and a few additional small modifications. He will give you a better indication of how it's been. :)

@@ncr318 It wasn't to bad honestly. The directions are pretty clear, and our rig had some of the components installed so we didn't have to drill into the rig. Make sure you have two people. After the first one, once you understand how it works, it's just repeating for all the other slide outs. I would say a definite must have to keep the elements and debris off your slide outs.

Hello thanks for commenting! We really like the rig so far. We have had a few minor issues but not a big deal because they are under manufacture warranty and dont really affect us at the moment. We have done a couple mods, we installed slide topper first thing, we also installed new electronic locks, we did make a video on that. We upgraded the bathroom faucet and installed a new shower head. That is all we really had time for before we had to prepare for winter and that was a whole new set of things. But we have a bunch more mods planned. Thank you for subscribing to the channel.

We have this same camper and love it. I actually had to add a portable ac and duct it out back window. The ducts to the bedroom are just to long and has poor airflow. I will be looking at a product called RVairflow but for right now the portable unit does a great job. Another thing that I am not crazy about is how tall this camper is. It has to push every bit of 13'6". I know the Coleman Mach 15 is the best ac available but wish it had a lower profile. Great camper though
