What happens after 30 amps ? Does it have a 'cut off / trip ' so the unit is not damaged ? Thank you - Alistair / UK

You are warned on the product to limit 20 amp plus readings to no more than 20 seconds. If you exceed 30 amps, the switch will fail and open the circuit. Sub 20 amp readings can be used for long time frames. If you need 20A+ measurements, then be sure it's momentary usage.

Too bad AES Wave uActivate came out & took much of the relay tester market. Unless you really know your way around relay circuits and know which pins do what (30 hot-->87 latch, 85-->86 coil, etc), the uActivate will replace much of these relay test kits (Lisle's Master kit, this one, etc). Throw in a Relay Buddy Pro 194 to direct load test the relay itself and you have it all covered. Now if AES had just included snap-in end relay adapters instead of making one purchase a bunch of horribly expensive, overpriced complete individual relay adapter cables, and had included a volt/ammeter display, it would have been perfect. But then what would they be left with to sell us later....?! The flock is being fleeced, I tell you.

Sorry, but I missed three messages on this video for some reason. New tools will always usurp the older ones. uActivate as well, it's coming...not from us tho.
