Concerning the console and shifter, you can get a console without the shifter in the XLT with the regular and XTR packages,(with column shifter). The console with the folding shifter is standard on the Sport appearance package and not available with the XTR chrome package.

@@ianrose2823 Send your sales rep an email or give them a call and ask if the truck has been serialized yet - you're looking for the VIN which once it's assigned would give the dealer a better idea of build timelines

I used to really like analogue clusters until I started reviewing more cars with digital ones. I hated the digital look at first but honestly.. outside of the idea of losing your display if your cluster screen dies.. they are pretty solid

If it's the cluster screen above the steering wheel the easiest fix for that is to unplug the battery for a few mins and then reconnect. If it's the infotainment screen there are a other ways to reset it without pulling the battery

My menu screen has gone blank. The only thing showing is the odometer at the bottom. How do I get it turned back on?

Battery pull is really the only thing you can try that would reset everything. But if that doesn't do it there could be a wiring or fuse issue

Can you switch between driving modes as your driving?

Normal to sport is no problem. The drive modes require you to be in either 4x2 or 4x4 so you'd need to stop for it do change over for most modes

Dealer transport mode is done by turning the truck on then press the brake pedal 5 times and the 4 way hazard lights 5 times

Unfortunately not.. The 8" cluster screen is XLT 301a / 302a from the factory

Not in the cluster screen.. If your F150 has the smaller Sync4 screen climate controls are only under the screen but if you have the larger phablet style screen you can watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWPXZZV6lK-sb6M
