2022-2024 Lexus NX - Change Cloud Navigation to Km instead of miles

Omg. Thank you! This happened randomly today on my 2022 Nxh. Seems like a software bug. It fixed itself with the next start up but at least now I know how to fix it next time.

If the vehicle GPS locates you in the US, it can flip the navigation to miles. It is a software bug for the miles/km, which I hope they will fix soon.

what would really be nice is if you can switch the actual odometer from km/miles and back. Crossing the border often, not difficult to figure out but sometimes during long drives its easy to forger your speed.

It doesn't look like that is possible atm. That is what I saw from a forum member saying that it cannot be changed. I believe it's an easy change, but just not available for us to customize.

@@lsft how do you find comfortness of the F sport seat? I want the 450h+ too but i hate F sport seat, it's stiff, it bump my butt every times in get in the car. There are two nx 450h+ F sport 3 available at my local Lexus dealer and my order is the 350h Executive. Should I get the 450h+ and cancel my 350h?

@@GuuiYae i find them good for me. I'm considered medium built so it works well for me. Depends on your built and if you like the wrap around feel. You should go and do a test drive and see if you like the seats or not.

This is helpful, thanks! I am also driving my nx450h+ and actually just searching for this. Quick question about this navigation: Have you ever seen the navigation network down? like instead of showing the map, it shows a static photo and a subscribe button at the bottom screen. When I click subscribe it's still not working. I contact dealer and they reset the system for me and it works back again, still not an ideal way cause I have to set my position and connect my phone over again, and the issue could happen again some time..

I have never seen that issue myself. It has always shown up. From what I hear, it doesn't look like network down, but your subscription did not get downloaded causing it to show the subscribe button again.

Loving your videos. By the time Lexus condescends to deliver my 450 I will be more than familiar ( ordered January ). I will be offered coatings on the new vehicle by the dealer before delivery. I have taken them in the past ( existing BMWX3) but have never been sure whether it is just an opportunity to reap more income for the dealer. What have you done? Inside and out? There is an opportunity for a new video.

I haven't done any coating on the NX. But if you are concern you can do ceramic or have TPU wrap. Cos I didn't do any coating, I did get my first stone chip. Ouch.

Can you show us the cargo capacity. How much space is there to fit some large luggage? Do we have to position them laying flat or can they be sideways up?

Strange, my NX250EX model has options to directly set it to KM and L, doesnt even have the 'auto' toggle

It's possible that you are in another market and the lexus interface is a bit different.

I just got my NX 350 1 month ago, have you notice there are times when you start the car it can’t load up to the primary profile, instead it went into guest mode. Once i input the PIN and change back to the primary profile, it can’t connect Bluetooth to the iPhone or load up apple car play until I turned off the engine, lock my car. And restart the engine again. Is it just me?!?

I've noticed that when you immediately jump into the car. Have you linked your physical key to your profile? If the connection to your Bluetooth fails, you don't need to turn off the car and start it again. Just press and hold the power/volume knob until the Lexus Interface reboots.

@@lsft I’ve linked my key to the profile as well, plus ad set up my digital key too. I will try to reboot the Lexus interface when it happen next time. I’ve noticed the situation got better after i stop using the additional engine immobilizer I’ve installed by Lexus dealer, if every time i turn on both the alarm from the Lexus key fob as well the additional alarm installed by the dealer, it would mess up my Bluetooth connection for sure. Therefore I stop using it and only rely on my Lexus keyfob

@@kwongche I have the digital key and keyfob as well. I think I've only seen that 2-3 times over the month. Most of the time the car loads my profile with the keyfob. My Android phone sometimes do not load up properly, but my iphone connects all the of time. I have one Android and one iphone connected all the time.

Thank you for that, my dealership changed miles to km but it changed itself back to miles, I can now fix it. I also have a 450H+ and have a question about regenerative braking, in EV mode the regenerative braking is not that noticable but if I am in sport mode the regenerative braking seems to be better. Am I imagining this? Thanks again for your very informative videos

You are right that in sport mode, the regenerative braking is more noticeable.

May ask your 2022 new NX Vin start with J or 2. So far I did not see any delivery new NX model made in Cambridge, Ontario. I am trying to buy 2022 NX 350H Tpms sensors, looks no one can tell the model.

I'm waiting on mine to be delivered as well and was wondering the same thing. Japan got hit by a earthquake recently and the Toyota factories were affected. More delays coming.

I wanted the NX 450h+ too, but with such long wait time and my RX got stolen, end up i compromise with NX 350, hopefully i can ordered the NX 450h+ 1 year ahead before this lease expires

@@kwongche how long is the wait at the moment? Are you able to put an order and pull ahead your lease? With today's car shortages maybe an early return of your current 350 will still be ok.

@@lsft I’ve spoke with my dealer, back in March they were telling me the wait is half a year, but with the earthquake happening, i felt there might be a delay and my rental would be expiring soon, so I choose the NX 350. I put a 3 yr lease, dealer was telling me earliest i can return 6 months before the lease mature. So I will place an order probably the 2nd year of my current lease
